The Ghanaian songstress, Gyakie has revealed that award-winning Highlife singer, Bisa Kdei played an important role in her music career.
According to the young songstress, she will never forget the words of encouragement that were given to her by Bisa Kdei in the early stage of her career.
The R&B and afro-fusion singer in an interview mentioned that Bisa Kdei was one of the top artists who motivated her career and aided her development as a musician.
“Before I became known, I saw a video of Bisa Kdei telling me not to give up because I was very talented, and these words of encouragement really motivated my career, and I would never forget”.

She revealed that Bisa Kdei’s words of encouragement led to them combining on the single ‘Sor Mi Mu’, which became a household hit in a few years.

The ‘Forever’ hitmaker Gyakie is on a winning streak this year as she continues to make headlines with her music.
The latest addition to her accomplishments in recent times is hitting over 100 million views on YouTube. This new achievement marks a significant turning point in her short career.
Gyakie, who is obviously excited broke the news to her fans on her social media page and expressed her delight at having reached such a turning point.
Along with reaching the turning point of 100 million views on Youtube, Gyakie is also making a dazzling debut on a major billboard in New York City.
The singer wrote on her Facebook page, saying;
“100M Total views on YouTube plus a Major billboard in NYC for Black Voices. Thanks, YouTube, And Big Congrats to my fans all over. I love you!.”

Earlier this month, the songbird was named a part of the YouTube Black Voices Fund Music Class 2023, joining countries like Jamaica, the United States, Nigeria, Australia, and Brazil among others.
The program aims to provide Black innovators, artists, composers, and producers with direct financial assistance to support their YouTube content and have a platform to share their opinions and experiences.
Along with Gyakie, other African artists who made the list are Asake and BNXN from Nigeria and Kamo Mphela and Mashbeatz from South Africa.
In addition, the “Forever” hitmaker has shared the stage with international performers including Nigerian “Baddo” Tiwa Savage and American R&B singer Usher.
Gyakie is also getting ready for the second edition of her “Party Live with Gyakie” Concert.
The singer announced on Facebook and invited her fans to the special occasion, which happens to be her 24th birthday as well.
The concert comes off on December 16, 2022, at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel n Accra.
