Black Sherif’s ‘Lord I’m Amazed’ is No.10 on UK Afrobeats Chart

The multi-award-winning Ghanaian music sensation, Black Sherif’s new single, ‘Lord I’m Amazed’ has reached Number 10 on the official UK Afrobeat chart in its first week.

The single which was released on his birthday, January 9, 2024, struck a chord with fans worldwide becoming the most Shazamed in Ghana in its first week of release, the number 1 song on Apple Top 100 Ghana chart, and dominating charts in Africa, Europe on other digital streaming platforms.

Renowned for his raw storytelling, dynamic flow, and soul-stirring lyricism, Black Sherif blends gospel-inspired melodies with heartfelt verses in ‘Lord I’m Amazed.’

The track chronicles his struggles, triumphs, and unwavering faith, delivering a profound message wrapped in harmonic layers and heartfelt instrumentation.

Following his monumental success with his Zaama Disco concert in Accra last December, which saw 23,000 fans gathered at the ‘Untamed Empire’ to witness the 23-year-old musical genius and the astronomical plaudits with his debut album, ‘The Villain I Never Was’, and a plethora of multiple chart-topping singles and international acclaim.

Black Sherif is gearing up for the release of Iron Boy, his sophomore album.

Black Sherif is set to commence his Iron Boy North American Tour which kicks off on April 4 at the Howard Theater in Washington DC, USA.

Popular Ghanaian actress, Nana Ama McBrown captivated Ghanaians on social media after sharing a TikTok video of herself singing Black Sherif’s latest song, ‘Lord I’m Amazed.’

In the video, McBrown, dressed in a stylish outfit, looked excited as she sang the lyrics word for word while the song played in the background.

Fans praised her energy and talent, with many calling her multitalented in the comments section.

‘Lord I’m Amazed,’ Black Sherif’s new single, has been widely celebrated since its release. The 23-year-old musician described the song as a solemn prayer and a reflection of his gratitude and testimony.

The track’s touching lyrics and spiritual tone have impressed music lovers, including several Ghanaian celebrities.

2025 is expected to be a busy year for Black Sherif, who plans to release his second album, ‘Iron Boy.’ The artist stated that he wants listeners to connect deeply with the message in his songs.

Aside from McBrown, socialite Efia Odo recently shared her admiration for ‘Lord I’m Amazed.’

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), she called the song beautiful and referenced its spiritual depth by quoting a Bible verse to buttress the message.

Efia said the song moved her and expressed her appreciation for Black Sherif’s work.
