Entertainment pundit and former manager of Shatta Wale, Bullgod, known offstage as Lawrence Asiamah Hanson, has offered a candid peek into his philosophy on life.
True to his vibrant personality, Bullgod did not hold back in sharing his unapologetic love for ease and enjoyment.
“My purpose on this earth is not to suffer,” Bullgod declared, reclining comfortably as he chatted with Empress Gifty over a warm kitchen setting.
“Every day for me is like a holiday. I was born a victor, and I believe my existence is about enjoying the best life has to offer.”

His confident assertion drew chuckles from Gifty and the audience, but Bullgod didn’t stop there. He elaborated on his point with a playful twist of theology and said with a mischievous smile.
“When God finished creating everything, I was the last to come into existence. Do you know why? So that humans wouldn’t have to struggle. So, tell me, why shouldn’t I enjoy?”

The banter-filled exchange between the two personalities was both entertaining and thought-provoking.
Gifty, known for her spirited yet grounded outlook, teased him about his outlook, asking whether his philosophy ever clashed with the challenges of real life.
Bullgod’s response was swift and resolute.
“Challenges? Oh, I meet them, but I choose not to dwell on them. Life is too short to focus on hardship. That’s why I always look at the brighter side, and honestly, that’s what keeps me going.”

Bullgod Shares Reason He Supports NDC

The outspoken entertainment pundit and artist manager, Bullgod, did not mince words about his political allegiance.
Bullgod openly declared his unwavering support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) while offering a scathing critique of the previous administration under Nana Akufo-Addo, describing it as “one of the most ineffective in history.”
When Empress Gifty probed into his consistent criticism of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) during the show, Bullgod explained his position with characteristic candour.
“It’s not about being bitter or having a personal vendetta. I support the NDC because, under Mahama’s leadership, we saw tangible results, solid infrastructure, good policies, and genuine progress.”

In defending his stance, Bullgod brought up the contentious debate around the Free Senior High School (Free SHS) policy, which the NPP often touts as a cornerstone of its legacy.
“Let’s set the record straight. The Free SHS initiative didn’t originate with the NPP. Mahama laid the groundwork before leaving office. They only implemented it, but the credit goes to the NDC.”

Bullgod’s pointed remarks didn’t stop there. Responding to Empress Gifty’s question about whether he was financially motivated to align with the NDC, he dismissed the idea with a laugh.
“I don’t need anyone to pay me to speak the truth. I support the NDC because they deliver results, not because of money.”

The conversation took a reflective turn as Bulldog underscored his belief in political accountability. “Ghanaians deserve better. It’s not about being loyal to a party blindly. It’s about who is doing the real work,” he noted.
Moreover, Bullgod urged the Electoral Commission of Ghana to consider rescheduling the country’s election date from December to an earlier time.
Bullgod expressed concern over how the current election schedule impacts the entertainment industry, particularly during the festive season.
According to him, the fear of potential election-related violence discourages many members of the diaspora from visiting Ghana in December, which subsequently affects attendance at creative events and hinders investment opportunities.
Addressing potential concerns about the transition process, Bullgod proposed constitutional amendments to guide the procedure if the election date is changed.
He emphasized that Ghana should adapt to evolving circumstances rather than holding on to traditional practices.
