Nigerian superstar, Burna Boy keeps proving to the world that he is indeed the ‘African giant’ as he features on Canadian ace singer, Justin Bieber’s latest song, ‘Loved by You’.

Meanwhile, several netizens per their comments are astounded by the great heights Burna Boy keeps achieving. Some intimated that he is enjoying the fruit of his labor since his beginning wasn’t an easy one. Meanwhile, some others were a little bit disappointed. According to them, the time frame given to Burna to record his verse wasn’t enough. However, in a quick response, some asserted that Burna Boy didn’t need an hour to do justice to the song. Nevertheless, they posited that the few seconds allotted to him is all he needed to make an impact on the song. Some reactions from his post read:

The song is highly dominated by Justin Beiber’s vocals but is complemented by and wrap around Burna Boy’s heartfelt verse. ‘Loved By You’ is one of the sixteen tracks from Justin Bieber’s latest album, ‘Justice’. Yet, the album includes additional guest vocals from Chance The Rapper, Giveon, and more.

That notwithstanding, Justin Bieber is not the only international pop star Burna Boy has collaborated with. He is well known for having several A-list international features. The hitmaker of the single ‘Anybody’, has teamed up with the likes of Sia, Sam Smith, Stormzy, Ed Sheeran, and Keyan’s Sauti Sol to record some amazing music.
Even so, ‘The African Giant’, Burna Boy debuted in 2013 with the release of his first album ‘LIFE,’ followed by ‘Redemption’ in 2015, ‘Outside’ in 2018, ‘African Giant’ in 2019, and Grammy-winning album ‘Twice as Tall’ in 2020.
Also, Burna Boy’s ‘Anybody’ track, from his ‘African Giant’ album was listed among former US President Barack Obama’s favorite songs of 2019 and he won the BET Best International Act in 2020.
That aside, Burna Boy has parallels to Fela Kuti. Just like Kuti, he has been vocal about social issues across the African continent, while railing against the violent intimidation of citizens by politicians and security agents in his home country.
