Award-winning rapper, Sarkodie, has had a number of his colleagues describe him as rude when they sometimes request to work on a piece with him.
Samini, in a submission on Twitter, publicly stated that he will not collaborate with the rapper because he ignored his messages requesting a joint for a song and referred to him as dishonest and rude.
The dancehall artiste joins Edem, DeeMoney, Yemi Alade, and Meiway, among others, who have openly rebuked the rapper for failing to respond to their messages when they requested a collaboration.
However, D-Black and Wendy Shay have come forward to provide their support to the ‘Stir It Up’ musician, revealing the kind and sweet things he did for them following Samini’s altercation.
Ghanaian artiste and Businessman, born Desmond Kwesi Blackmore, known by his stage name D-Black refuted Samini’s assertion that Sarkodie was ‘fake and rude’ for declining to return a favor.
The successful entertainment mogul, in a tweet, provided a contrasting narrative of how the rapper consistently came through for his friends and associates.
“It just hit me that @sarkodie pulled up to my crib one time and did 2 verses for me, OMEGA and Give it To Me ft. YCee & himself on my album and guess what… I wasn’t even home. I was in Kumasi performing at an event. Came back the next day & records were there done! Bless u g”.

Wendy Shay, another musician who joined D-Black, praised the rapper, Sarkodie for having faith in her abilities and showing mad love at the beginning of her career.
Wendy claims that Sarkodie gave her a verse on her song, Psalm 35 when she was just starting in the business.
She also described the rapper as one of the kindest people she has worked with, despite the claim that Sarkodie ignores those who reach out to him for business.
She tweeted saying;
“I released my first ever song on 1st June 2018… just 3 months in the industry I sent psalm 35 to @sarkodie 2 hours later he sent his verse, I still have 2 songs with a top GH Artist since 2020 and the person never do am. I wanna say thank u @sarkodie you are too kind”.

I will respect him even more
Reacting to the unfortunate that witnessed two of Ghana’s prominent musicians clash on radio, Sammy Flex in a tweet dated January 29, declared that Sarkodie might never grant a radio interview due to the awful experience that left him disappointed.
In an interview, the host surprisingly put Samini, the man who tagged Sarkodie as ‘fake and disrespectful’ on the line to address the allegations he had earlier leveled against the rapper on Twitter.
Samini, who faced off with Sarkodie during the interview, lost his cool and referred to the rapper as ‘his small boy’.
He fumed and said;
“Sarkodie did not try for me. He did not try for me and he knows it. Sark, you are my small boy. Sark was one of the boys who said in his raps that he wants to blow up and become like Samini. Ask him. My guy don’t play”.
Samini
The rapper, in an attempt to handle the situation, said;
“I’m saying sorry, not because everything you’re saying is true. I treat things differently from how people will treat things. I wouldn’t call it pain because I don’t care. Everybody has something happening to them. There are thousands of people out there who will also say I don’t hesitate to work with them”.
Sarkodie
Sammy Flex tweeted after the interview saying;
“The @sarkodie vrs @Hitz1039FM experience… the next time I will see King Sark going for another radio interview, I will respect him even more cos some of us saw the disappointment in his demeanor on the day after the @samini_dagaati call. But he played Emotional Intelligence”.
