To some people, the popular Ghanaian international entertainment figure and fashion critic, Charlie Dior is sexually ambiguous but he has described the type of woman he is attracted to, perhaps, indicating a bit of, if not his entire sexual orientation.
Charlie Dior responded to whether he had a girlfriend or not.
“I’m very single. So if there’s someone who is interested in me and is not ill-mannered, they should feel free to enter my direct emails. I’m not searching but I’m available.”

He was asked about his type of woman.
“I do character. So have a positive vibe around you, [and] have a job. Have something going on for yourself because I don’t want you always depending on me, and let’s see if we can build something.”

He was quick to add that “chemistry” was important to him as well, no matter how one looked.
Charlie Dior revealed he had never been in a committed relationship before.
“I’ve been in situationships,” he noted, however, explaining these were relationships in which he was “trying to see if it could happen”.
He said he had never been shown the same passion he had always shown his lovers.
“I don’t think I’ve been in love before. I’ve liked some people before [though].”
Charlie Dior
Clearing all doubts, he said he had been with women before.
Though not in a committed relationship, he said, “I make love all the time. I’m not in a committed relationship but every now and then [I enjoy intimacy].”
He underlined he thoroughly enjoyed it.
The fashion critic indicated, given his arguably feminine looks and mannerism which attract so much “hate” online, “people adore me in real life on the streets”.
Charlie Admires Kwami Eugene’s New Fashion Sense
Fashion critic and content creator, Charlie Dior bemoaned Highlife star and record producer Kuami Eugene for unfollowing him on social media because of an old video in which he subjected Eugene to his usual comical yet scathing criticism.
Charlie Dior admitted how hard he was on Kwami Eugene when he critiqued his way of dressing.
“I admit I was very, very hard on Kuami Eugene. Eii, this is a man I compared his suit to a couch. I was very hard on him. And usually, when I’m hard on someone, it’s because I like them. I’m a big of Kuami Eugene’s.
“But I think for Kuami, I’ll give him the most-improved [accolade]. He was terrible at fashion initially but he’s finding himself and I think he is the most-improved.”

Charlie Dior noted Kuami Eugene once said at the beginning of his career, that he did not want to overspend on fashion, an approach that informed his dressing.
“It does cost money,” he footnoted, apparently offering Eugene’s reasoning some support.
“People invest a lot of money to look good. Kuami Eugene said he wanted to take care of his family and was not investing a lot of money in his looks. But now that he’s gotten things together. I’ve met him personally before, he’s finding his style and swag.”

Charlie Dior emphasized, “He’s definitely the most-improved and he’s very young so as time goes on, he’ll find it.”
The fashion critic, however, asserted that he has brought significant sanity to the beauty and fashion world since he began his fashion commentary on social media.
“I hear from the celebrities, I see them all the time, and the feedback I get is they fear to dress anyhow and get admonished by me.”
Charlie Dior
He said his YouTube show had made a lot of people improve on their fashion whether the people want to agree to it or not, it has created a change, and the fashion designers testify to him all the time how he has them working hard. “I feel it; I see it on the red carpet, you cannot deny my influence,” he added.
Charlie Dior said he had heard from Gospel star Diana Asamoah’s camp concerning how seriously Diana took his commentary on her wardrobe choices, and how the same had benefitted her.
“In a viral video of mine, I described Diana Asamoah as ‘slaying for Christ’ and up till now, she uses that phrase. The crème de la crème Nana Ekua Addo, she takes [my comments] very seriously. She knows about me. She has mentioned and referenced me. Those who get it, get it. Those who don’t will catch up.”
