Socialite and actress, Efia Odo has clarified her stance on love and relationships, stating that she has not given up yet on relationships.
After different relationships did not end well for the actress, she announced her intention via social media not to be romantically involved with any man anymore.
“It’s not like I have given up on love, like right now I am taking my time. Before, I used to wear my heart on my sleeves, now I wear it in my jeans. When I love, it’s overwhelming for the wrong person so I want to really take my time to scope out any guy who says they are interested in me.”

“My name is Efia Odo, I am love and I give out love and can’t give up on love so I am taking it slow,” she added.
According to her, she finds something awkward about Ghanaian guys.
“The guys here, I don’t know. There’s something because I came into this country optimistic, full of love and altruistic but the system here will change your way of thinking and way of being because it’s just different,” she said.
She further admitted that she might also be the problem in her love life because she loves overwhelmingly.
However, Efia says she has learned to love herself first and is now picky about whom she chooses to love.
“Me, I can meet you today and I will do everything for you because I feel like that is how we all should be as human beings. We should be loving and supporting each other, but I have to come to learn that first of all when you love yourself, you don’t allow people to love you the way they should.”

Socialite Advises on ‘Fake Friendship’ in Showbiz Industry
Efia Odo shared some experiences about her journey in the entertainment industry.
While opening up about her friendship with people in the industry, the actress said she’s realized that people in the industry only use each other for business purposes, stressing that there’s no real friendship.
According to her, she does not force herself to be friends with people emphasizing that there’s no point in faking friendship.
“I feel like this industry, there’s no friendship in this industry. It’s more of acquaintances, business associates, It’s not really friendship. Maybe one or two people but in reality, it’s always been like what you can do for me and what I can do for you.
“What’s the point in faking it? For me, I have people who I am close to and cool with and after that, we go our separate ways…I think I have also learned a lot about trying to be friends with people in this industry but it’s good.”

The socialite also provided her must-listen top five playlists, all five being Ghanaian contemporary and old songs.
The actress listed her top five playlists and Black Sherif’s ‘Toxic Love City’ song topped her list.
Although it is unclear what may have informed her choice, it is sufficient to suggest that considering her past experiences with love and relationships, the actress may have based on that to make her decision.
In descending order, her top five includes; Kojo Antwi’s ‘Bra’, any song from Gyakie, ‘Too More’ by King Promise ft Sarkodie and Olivetheboy, ‘Poison’ by the late Ebony and ‘Toxic Love City’ by Black Sherif.
Efia Odo has in the past spoken about how her ex-boyfriend, Revlo broke up with her after he saw her tattoo his name on her arm.
Efia has also spoken bitterly about how her friendships with other close pals have ended sour and parted ways with them.
In a recent podcast, the actress also bemoaned the ‘bitterness’ she experienced from persons she considered loved ones and offered support to.
