Nigerian rapper, Falz, in reaction to a new report which indicts the Nigerian Army of shooting live bullets at the Lekki toll gate has berated the Federal Government for consistently denying reports of killing at the tollgate on October 20, 2020.
The Nigerian rapper who doubles as a comic actor, Falz, taking to his Instagram stories, slammed the federal government for making young people who voiced issues regarding the shootings feel insane about their collective conviction on the Lekki Massacre.
“These animals legit made us doubt our sanity about the Lekki Massacre you know” and finished in pidgin, as he wrote, “Panel don compiles their reports na… We gather dey”.
DJ Switch Reacts to the new Report
Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Switch, who has been relentless in her fight for the #EndSARS justice also reacted to the report by the panel.

Taking to her Twitter page, DJ Switch wrote, “Shattered so many lives, tried to destroy mine. Only for what you desperately tried to hide to be made public… by you! The truth needs no defense! #EndSARS”.
The DJ gained more prominence last year when she took to her Instagram page to do a live coverage that showed protesters being shot at by personnel of the Nigerian Army at the Lekki Toll Gate during the #EndSARS protest that shocked the nation last year.
While most Nigerians praised her for her braveness, the DJ claimed that she was on the run from the Nigerian government.
Details of the Panel Report
A report submitted by the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry on Restitution for Victims of SARS-Related Abuses and other matters to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state punctured claims by the Nigerian Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed that reports of a massacre at the Lekki toll gate were false.
Titled, ‘Report of Lekki Incident Investigation Of 20th October 2020’, the report revealed that at least nine persons were confirmed dead at the Lekki toll plaza on the night soldiers stormed there to disperse #EndSARS protesters on October 20, 2020.
The panel noted that at least 48 protesters were either shot dead, injured with bullet wounds, or assaulted by soldiers. The Justice Doris Okuwobi-led panel made this known in its report submitted to the Lagos State Government on Monday.
According to the report, among the 48, about 20 sustained gunshot injuries, while 13 others were assaulted by the military.

It can be recalled that the Federal Government through the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed consistently denied several reports that there was a massacre of Nigerian youth across the country during the #EndSARS protests last year at the Lekki toll gate.
The Minister denied the reports at a news conference in Abuja amid a memorial organized to mark the first anniversary of the #EndSARS protests.
Minister Mohammed stated that most of the reports that people were killed by the security agencies at the Lekki toll gate on October 20th, 2020 were false and misleading. falz falz
The Minister noted that the families of the supposed victims were yet to show up and give evidence a year after such allegations were made.
Minister Mohammed described the claim by Amnesty International that no fewer than 12 protesters were killed at the toll gate by security operatives during the EndSARS protest as a “massacre without bodies”.
He also threatened to sue Cable News Network (CNN), Nigerian Disc Jockey, DJ Switch, and other media houses that claimed soldiers shot at the peaceful protesters.
