I’ll Fight For Ghana – Efia Odo Vows

Ghanaian socialite, Efia Odo

Ghanaian actress and socialite, Efia Odo has vowed to fight for the betterment of the nation regardless of where she finds herself as a staunch advocate.

The actress has been at the forefront of protests including the #OccupyJulorbiHouse demonstration that was championed by some concerned Ghanaians and celebrities to relay their grievances to President Akufo-Addo with respect to the deplorable state of the Ghanaian economy.

According to her, the struggles Ghanaians are facing in the country ought to be trumpeted by individuals like herself to ensure that the government heeds the cries of the people.

Efia Odo commented after an individual accused her of betraying the protesters following her departure to reside outside of the country for some time after the demonstration.

“Don’t worry I’m going to fight for Ghana, no matter what country I’m in,” Efia Odo wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

The actress was part and parcel of the host of celebrities who partook in the #OccupyJulorbiHouse protest that gained much attention in the country due to the police’s handling of the protesters on the first day.

The #OccupyJulorbiHouse protesters were hailed by the public for their resilience and persistence during the demonstration after the police arrested some protesters at the initial stage.

Tackling Diana Asamoah For Saying Ghanaians Are Ungrateful

Human rights activist, and social media influencer, Efia Odo tackled Diana Asamoah for saying Ghanaians are ungrateful for constantly bashing the NPP Government.

Over the weekend, Diana Asamoah made some comments that didn’t sit well with a lot of Ghanaians.

It’s not news that there is economic hardship in Ghana. The prices of goods and services keep increasing on a daily basis. This has caused a lot of tension in the country as many people wonder if things will never be normal.

Diana Asamoah seems delusional for not acknowledging that things are different under the Nana Addo-led administration. The evangelist accused Ghanaians of being ungrateful.

According to her, President Nana Addo is doing everything in his power to improve the lives of Ghanaians.

She further added that he has done a lot to help the youth in general but the ungrateful attitude of Ghanaians is preventing them from seeing it.

Reacting to this, Efia Odo who recently led a protest against the government for prioritizing the needs of its citizens called Diana Asamoah dumb.

According to Efia Odo, ever since she started tasting money from the NPP, she is no longer a Holy Spirit-filled gospel artist.

“Diana Asamoah has had an encounter with money so now the Holy Spirit has left her and she’s unable to speak the truth. When the Holy Spirit dwells within, you are able to speak the truth no matter how painful it is !!! God is watching,” she Tweeted.

“Does she [Diana Asamoah] really know what’s going on in the country? Does she understand what we’re fighting for? What does this image have to do with greed and envy?” she further noted.

Efia Odo voiced her frustrations after Diana Asamoah extolled the Akufo-Addo-led government for introducing free SHS and other projects.

Diana Asamoah stated that even if Jesus becomes president of Ghana and the citizens don’t change their attitudes, the hardship will still persist.

“The whole world is in crisis, a lot of the hardships also rest on our actions. I have always maintained that even if Jesus becomes president and we don’t change our attitudes, we won’t have it right. The Bible talks about blessings for the truthful and that those in haste won’t have it well,” she said.
