In a post on his social media handles, the singer-songwriter said he appreciated the love and support he felt from fans, family and all who reached out after he fell ill.
KiDi noted that their actions and concerns comforted him in the “difficult period” adding he is thankful to everyone.
He noted:
“A little under two months ago, I made the painful decision of cancelling my tour to take care of my health that included taking time off social media. In that time, I have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love from family, friends, fans and the brands I work with”.

KiDi also shared a video of himself assuring his fans and followers that he is healthy.
This comes after the ‘Adiepena’ hitmaker, in February, cancelled his North American tour which was expected to come off in March 2023.
The artiste was expected to tour about 10 cities in the US, including Seattle, Dallas, New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago and Atlanta. In Canada, he was booked to perform in Toronto.
Announcing to his fans why the tour was cancelled, KiDi noted that the decision was inevitable due to some health issues – but he did not elaborate.
This led to speculations about his health with some people spreading rumours that he was suffering from a stroke.
Lynx Entertainment Richie Mensah dismissed rumours calling the claims clickbait.
Meanwhile, KiDi on his return has also stressed that the rumours were false calling on fans not to give it any attention.
Meanwhile, he added:
“I am glad to be back to doing what I love most, creating music and performing for you. Thanks for sticking it out with me. Love, KIDI”.

KiDi’s health condition
Ghanaians were still not happy with the sudden absence of the ‘SUGAR DADDY’ KiDi in the wake of rumours that spreaded like wildfire that he was seriously down by a stroke.
LYNX Entertainment signee, Dennis Nana Dwamena professionally known as KiDi was reportedly very ill and got bedridden in the process.
The ‘Say Cheese’ hitmaker’s last post on Instagram confirmed that he was currently battling a chronic illness and has been absent from social media since 14th February 2023.
In his last emotional post, KiDi exclusively revealed that his current health condition won’t permit him to perform on his GoldenBoy North American tour hence it has been postponed and the new dates will be communicated to his fans very soon.
He additionally revealed that he was left with no other option than to reschedule his tour dates because if he pushes himself to perform, his already weakened health status might deteriorate and land him in a critical condition.
KiDi’s post gave rise to depressing rumours that have taken over social media trends alleging that he’s down with a stroke which can’t be confirmed.
However, days ago when the rumours started spreading across social media, the CEO of Lynx Entertainment, Richie Mensah shot down the rumours circulating about KiDi’s health.
According to him, there’s no speck of truth in the reports and has urged fans and followers of the musician to ignore the fast-trending speculations.
Since the day Richie came to the public space to react to the issue, the worry of Ghanaians about the VGMA award-winning artiste became worse by day.
They say before they can believe that the Ladies Man – KiDi is not down with a Stroke as it is believed, the management should update his socials with a video of him speaking to the fans. Anything aside that could affirm their beliefs.
