Actress and entrepreneur Yvonne Nelson shared her views about love and life in an interview.
She described love as a scam to the extent that more often it was conditional, at least per her experiences.
She responded to the issue before delving into the issue of love, saying;
“What you see on the screen is acting. Love is a scam in reality and we all know it, isn’t it so?”.

The film producer explained further saying;
“I think love is a scam because we are all deceitful. If a person talks about love, there is something they are seeking, be it money or sex, it is conditional so it is a scam”.

In her opinion, love is the route through which men have often lied to women.
She said that when men need something from you and they can’t tell you directly, they come and tell you they are in love with you, and you the woman fall for it, which is women are being lied to by the men in the name of ‘love’.
“It is just a way of telling you that I want something from you and so they just use the word love and it is usually the ladies being lied to by the men and we women, fall for the lies and it’s usually men deceiving women”.

Asked if she was not in love, she responded and emphasized that;
“Love, I am sorry I am not there yet. I used to love but it was like a joke. It is a scam”.

I have never been loved
The Ghanaian actress, model, film producer, and entrepreneur who has starred in several movies said that she has never been loved.
Yvonne Nelson disclosed that she used to love but it looked like she was just playing with it and that she saw love to just be a lie.
“I used to love but it looked like I ws playing with it. Like I am saying, it’s all a lie”.

In the interview, she was asked if she doesn’t have love and responded that she has a lot of love but the people she will love is the problem.
“I have a lot of love but the people you will love. That is why i said love is a scam”.

The model was asked again if she doesn’t meet those men who don’t deceive women and she answered by asking the interviewer if there were men who don’t deceive women.
“Do we have men who don’t deceive?”.

She realized she was loved because of many conditions.
She doesn’t believe in love because she believes that the love she will give to someone, that love will not be given back to her when it comes to relationships.
“I feel like the love I want to give to someone, they don’t have that love to give back.
“So it’s not like I have canceled it as I will never fall in love but I don’t see there is someone out there who can give me that same love. It’s always conditional”.

In addition, she said you can be friends with someone, get along then the rest follows.
“I look at friendship, you should be able to be friends with someone you think you want to spend the rest of your life with, you get along and then the rest can follow”.
