Mohbad’s Autopsy Will Take Months Before It’s Made Public – Management

Nigerian singer. the late Mohbad

The management of the late Mohbad disclosed that the singer didn’t thumbprint any will before he died.

The autopsy of the singer, Ilerioluwa “Mohbad” Aloba will not be released immediately, his management wrote on Instagram on Monday, January 15, 2024.

According to them, the autopsy which has now been concluded will first be taken abroad and would require some months before the results, much-anticipated by fans of the singer and the general Nigerian public will be announced.

“We would like to use this opportunity to share a few updates and highlight certain truths so that misconceptions and miscommunications do not persist…The police authorities have conducted an investigation and have communicated that the autopsy results from samples sent abroad will take a couple of months before they are shared,” the statement from his management said.

The management also debunked the report that the late singer had put together his last will, stressing that if such documents existed, they would have been registered with the probates registry.

“No members of Mohbad’s management or his lawyer have communicated the existence of a will or any such thumb-printed documents (as has been recently FALSELY reported) to any member of the family or the public….we, therefore, plead with everyone to refrain from sharing false and misleading statements like this,” the post read in part.

The Nigerian entertainment industry suffered a huge blow with Mohbad’s death on September 12, 2023. The strange circumstances revolving around his passing led to a nationwide demand for an investigation into how he died.

During the investigations, an autopsy was conducted, and according to the police, it was concluded. However, after some months, the results were never announced.

Speaking On Contents Of The Late Singer

The father of the late Nigerian artist, Mohbad, raised suspicions surrounding the circumstances of his son’s demise, expressing concerns over the contents of a will allegedly discovered after his death.

Mohbad’s father revealed disturbing details that have left him suspicious of foul play.

Upon reaching his son’s residence, Mohbad’s father was taken aback to find his son’s body already locally embalmed.

However, what made the situation more mysterious was the unexpected presence of a lawyer instead of a medical doctor.

The grieving father disclosed an even more shocking discovery – the existence of a will allegedly belonging to the late 27-year-old artist.

Mohbad’s father expressed astonishment at the fact that his son had a will, especially given that he, at an older age, did not possess one.

The most puzzling aspect of the will, according to Mohbad’s father, was that it bore the thumbprints of the late singer rather than a traditional signature.

He questioned why his son would opt for a thumbprint when he had a perfectly valid signature.

Netizens reacted to the comments of Mohbad’s father.

“You get property, and you want to write a will?”

“Jossy sabi talk sha!!! So he wants all that belongs to his son, then what happens to Liam?”

pava_turk

“This man is raising a lot of valid issues, but emotions do allow us to see the front. His issues are valid. Why was Mohbad’s will thumb-printed and not signed? Why will a young boy write a will!!!”

hameedahadayi

“More concerned about properties than his son’s death.”

“His story has not changed one bit….may God grant him peace.”

ruzanabyruzana

“No One thing I know was that Mohbad was killed, his death wasn’t natural, everyone that was with him 48hrs to his death is all guilty,..why will he thumb-print his will when he can sign?”
