Baba Mohbad Lays Curses
Joseph Aloba, father of the late Nigerian singer, Mohbad, condemned and cursed those seeking to make money from his son’s tragic death.
While leaving the court following a coroner’s inquest into Mohbad’s death, Joseph addressed reporters, expressing his dismay over the exploitation of his son’s memory.
In a video, Baba Mohbad spoke about the one-year remembrance of his son, who died under tragic circumstances on September 12, 2023, at the age of 27.
With sadness, he reflected on the ongoing grief he feels, stating that he still sheds tears whenever he hears Mohbad’s music.
He harshly criticized individuals seeking to benefit financially from the first anniversary of his son’s passing, cursing those who, in his view, plan to exploit the tragic occasion.
He declared that such people and their families would be stricken with leprosy, emphasizing that this was not a time for profit but for remembrance and justice.
Speaking in Yoruba, Joseph reiterated that despite the time that has passed, justice for Mohbad has yet to be served.
