Obi Cubana’s Mum Buried In A Foreign Gold Plated Casket Worth 30 Million Naira

CEO Of Cubana group, Obi Cubana has been the talk on social media as he pays his final respect to his mother in Oba, Anambra State.

With the affluence of Obi Cubana and his benevolence to his circle of friends and his business associates, a friend gifted him a foreign gold-plated casket worth 30 million Naira to be used for the burial of his mother.

The ‘grand-style’ burial became a special topic among Nigerians as viral videos showed a lavish display of wealth in Oba, Anambra State, on Friday.

Obi Cubana bought a diamond chain and pendant from a popular jeweler, Efobi Stephen, which had his late mother’s face engraved on it. In a post on his Instagram page, Stephen stated that Obi Cubana asked him to make a chain worth 100,000 dollars.

“Obi Cubana told me, ‘I want something special to commemorate my mum. What can my $100k do for me’. I told him, ‘Say no more big brother'”.

That notwithstanding, Obi Cubana’s committee of friends and business associates, for instance, raised over 270,000,000 Naira plus 346 live cows and still counting.

More so, the ceremony which has been tagged as the ‘burial of the year’ has seen many socialites, business icons, politicians, top government functionaries, and politicians gather at Oba in Anambra state to support the businessman.

Several Nigerian celebrities like Davido, D’banj, and E-Money stormed Anambra state for the burial ceremony. It is reported that Obi Cubana personally received Davido at the airport.

Meanwhile, in the late hours of yesterday, the burial ceremony turned into a mini-concert when Davido and D’banj performed to the mammoth crowd who couldn’t believe the music stars were in their small town.

Nonetheless, other celebrities who have showed up for the ceremony include Alexx Ekubo, Phyno, Ubi Franklin, BBNaija’s Frodd, and Kanayo O. Kanayo.

Speaking of the veteran actor, Kanayo. O. Kanayo, there was a viral video of him showing off bundles of money he planned to spray at the burial.

In the viral video, the movie star is spotted with stacks of cash that will be spent during the burial.

Well, he is not the only celebrity who has flaunted stacks of cash on social media as there have been several viral videos of friends and associates of Obi Cubana showing off cash they also intend to spend at the burial ceremony.

The news of Obi Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana’s mother’s burial first made the headlines during the week after his former employee, Cubana High Priest, gifted him with 46 cows for the burial.

Obi Iyiegbu popularly known as Obi Cubana is a Nigerian Based businessman, entertainer, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and a ‘show killer’. He is the chairman and the owner of the popular Cabana groups.

Obi Cubana is known to be one of the pioneers of nightlife in Abuja where he has major investments in the hospitality business.

He works with close associates including Paschal Okechukwu popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest to manage his entertainment conglomerates around the country. Obi Cubana in a recent interview revealed that he is currently working on Cubana Dubai and Cubana Real Estate.
