Television presenter/producer and media consultant, Stacy Amoateng has resigned as the Executive Director of Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) to take up a new role at Megastar International, a global record label.
Stacy Amoateng has been appointed as the International Director in charge of West & Central Africa, the United Kingdom, Europe, Canada, Latina, and the Caribbean Islands for the reputable record label.
Announcing her new move today, May 22 in a press release and copied Graphic Showbiz, Stacy noted that it saddened her heart to leave the media company after three years.
She said:
“I am excited to share this amazing news with you. I have been appointed International Director in charge of West & Central Africa, the United Kingdom, Europe, Canada, Latina, and the Caribbean Islands for Megastar International.
“Though excited, it saddens my heart to end my service with Angel Broadcasting Network as its executive director. The past three years have been nothing but insightful and bittersweet along the line. The triumph and lessons bagged are priceless”.

Stacy Amoateng also expressed her appreciation to Dr. Kwaku Oteng for reposed confidence in her abilities to bring value to the ABN brand.
She said:
“Thanks to my big brother Dr. Oteng for believing in me to bring value to his brand and I am absolutely glad I did. Thanks to @bteflon who held my hand and walked through the breeze and fire with me. To the amazing team who believed in the vision, I say God bless you.
“To have a global call to serve beyond Ghana means every work put in was worth it. I believe by the grace of God, I will make Ghana proud with this global appointment”.

Stacy Amoateng officially joined Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN) on June 1, 2020, as the Executive Director after disclosing that she rejected the offer three times when she was first approached in 2016.
She posted on her social media pages at the time:
“It didn’t just happen, it took years for waiting on God to give the green light and I am humbled to join the Angel Broadcasting Network as Executive Director for radio and television. I thank the Almighty God for this grace”.

Stacy Amoateng has been a strong figure in Ghana’s creative industry since she was featured in Taxi Driver in 2000.
In 2002, she hosted Talk Ghana on TV3 and later co-hosted Music Music with Bola Ray on the same channel. She resigned as co-host in 2012.
Her depth of experience gained over the years is expected to be an asset to drive her purpose in her new role at Megastar International.
Stacy Amoateng reacts to Nigel Gaisie’s lawsuit
Media personality Stacy Amoateng responded after getting sued by Prophet Nigel Gaisie.
Stacy Amoateng and Abdul Karim, popularly known as Nana Romeo have been dragged to court following their interview on the Restoration With Stacy program.
Nana Reomeo revealed on a show that the founder and leader of the Prophetic Hill Chapel, Prophet Nigel Gaisie attempted to snatch his girlfriend.
According to him, Nigel Gaisie ruined his relationship with his girlfriend who was supporting him financially.
He recounted that betrayal from Nigel Gaisie is one of the two things that hurt him so much because they were good friends.
Following that, Nigel Gaisie dragged Nana Romeo alongside Stacy Amoateng to court.
He has sued them for defamation, seeking apology and retraction plus legal fees and exemplary damages.
Reacting to the lawsuit, Stacy Amoateng shared a sassy photo of herself with the song ‘Bibii Gyegye Wo’.
She captioned:
“The Mind can hear a song sung by heart. The sound of silence is many times louder”.
