Wizkid has now become a trending topic on social media as fans and some netizens are reacting to this latest news.
Several people have congratulated him for being able to achieve the impossible.
That notwithstanding, some who were seriously waiting to buy the tickets but couldn’t get one noted that Wizkid has to organize another show just for them.
Some others took the opportunity to tout Wizkid as a monumental superstar and went on to list some historic moments Wizkid has been able to achieve.
Others too who were also disappointed that they couldn’t buy a ticket because it was sold out quickly lamented on how some are going to take advantage to resell the tickets at higher prices.
Y’all that got 6 or more tickets .. it’s not fair on us that couldn’t get even one !!!!! Not niceee at all .. I could cry right now cause I was literally up all night waiting to buy my ticket!!!

Was trying to get tickets since yesterday and selfish people already bought the tickets trying to resell them for a much higher price. You should be ashamed of yourself that most people who wanted the tickets couldn't get them. So angry right now.

Wizkid dominates gumbody and care package. better than tems?
The Grammy Award-winning Afrobeats star, Wizkid will take his ‘Made in Lagos Tour’ to the O2 Arena on November 28. The tour shares its name with his fourth album, ‘Made in Lagos’ which was released in October 2020 and features guest spots from Skepta, Ella Mai, Damian Marley, Burna Boy, and more.
- Wizkid’s Essence hits 1.4 million views in three days
- Wisekid allegedly makes 73,000 dollars monthly off Wizkid’s album
Well, it is worth noting that this is not the first time Wizkid has sold out tickets for a show at the O2 Arena.
It can be recalled that on the 19th of October 2019, Wizkid made history by being the first African artist to sell out the O2 Arena in London, twice. The 20, 000 capacity venue is highly coveted and is only considered for a show amongst top-tier artists.
However, what made the night dubbed ‘Starboy Fest’ particularly exciting was its seeming clash with the Headies, Nigeria’s leading music awards show. In the packed London venue, many artists like Afro B, Skepta, Tiwa Savage, Runtown, Naira Marley, Olamide, Fireboy DML, Maleek Berry, Terri, Reekado Banks, and the budding Oxlade all showed up for Wizkid’s event. What this meant was that there was a lack of star power present back in Lagos, Nigeria. According to reports, “many people poked fun at the Headies, projecting Wizkid to a position previously unheld by any artiste”.

While Wizkid’s show is no doubt a great achievement in itself, it further strengthened the love inherent between him and the many performing musicians. Rather than embrace a rift-like relationship with his industry colleagues, he does the opposite, sharing his stage with many established and up-and-coming acts.
One particular highlight of ‘Starboy Fest’ night was when Burna Boy and Wizkid served up elite zanku moves on stage, all the while entertaining the bubbling audience. Behind-the-scenes videos of artists being cool with each other also emerged, selling the good vibes that surround Wizkid presently.
