“So yesterday, my father called me and congratulated me for successfully holding my first live program as a minister of God. He said he watched it and he loved it. He then gave me some bible verses to read and talk about in my program. What more can I ask for from a father? Thank you for the support, Dad. Chief Pete Edochie. @peteedochie. The Lion of Africa,” he noted.

“May God keep you for many more years. (120 years and above). And continue to grant your heart’s desires. Joy, peace, happiness, wealth, and fulfillment shall be yours forever. Amen. Ononenyi na Nteje. Ebubedike. Ibobo Umueri. The Lion of Africa. Nwoke Ike. Nobody comes close to you. Thank you, Sir. I love you, Dad. My man for life,” he further added.

Reacting to his lengthy post and claim of an endorsement from his father, netizens have criticized him, calling him out for allegedly lying.

Sharing Of Emotional Story

Yul Edochie and his late son, Kambilichukwu

Actor Yul Edochie shares the profoundly touching story of a conversation he claims to have had with God in the wake of his son’s tragic passing.

Yul, who was devastated by his son’s passing, shared on his YouTube page that he was informed a few things by God, about his son’s death.

He claimed to have heard from God, who assured him of God’s unwavering love for him.

Yul Edochie asserted that God told him he was preparing him for a journey ahead of him and that in due course, he would comprehend.

“I was in my room all alone in my house in Lagos. I was all alone, I was heartbroken, shattered. This happened a few days after I lost my son. I was knocked out, just in my room, down, I couldn’t understand why it happened. God spoke to me, he said a couple of things to me. The first thing he said is that I shouldn’t think He doesn’t love me. I love you, and I have always loved you and I will always love you, but I have my reasons for letting this happen.

“He said I wouldn’t understand why this is happening now, at this point in your life, but in time to come, you will understand. Then He said again that I need the pain and he is taking me somewhere, on a journey and because of that journey I need the pain and the pain I was passing through is part of the process. He told me to give him praise, at all times and in all situations. You don’t know why I let it happen, but trust him and give him praise. God also said to me that it is okay to cry, but when I am done, I should get up, wipe my tears, and keep moving because I am a soldier”.

Recall that Yul and his estranged wife, May lost their first son, in January 2023.

According to reports, Kambilichukwu had read throughout the night in preparation for his exams. After his examination, he joined his friends to play football, where he slumped and developed a seizure and was immediately rushed to the hospital, unfortunately, he was confirmed dead.

Speaking out, May described the unfortunate incident as the most devastating and traumatic circumstance of her life.

Marking his first post-humous birthday last month, Yul had written an epistle to his late son, revealing how God granted him his desire to see his son. The failed presidential aspirant admitted that life hasn’t been easy since his son’s death, but they are all doing their best to cope though the pain is terrible.
