Dennis Miracles Aboagye, Communications Director for the Bawumia campaign, has dismissed the recently launched NDC Manifesto as lacking substance and devoid of meaningful content.
Aboagye declared that the NDC Manifesto’s emptiness is glaringly obvious, making it impossible to conceal or disguise, and equally unnecessary to deliberately expose.
The NPP stalwart’s comments come after John Mahama ridiculed the NPP flagbearer’s failure to respond to questions during a recent press conference, which the stalwart deemed a childish and unbecoming behavior from the former President.
“If it’s a serious manifesto, Ghanaians would discuss it even for years. Who takes a Manifesto that says it will make ‘night club’ 24 hours seriously? Who?”
“Who takes a Manifesto that says it will let people wake up to go queue at 2 am for their passports seriously?”

Aboagye further ridiculed the NDC manifesto, questioning the seriousness of a proposal that suggests having three Chief Directors at a Ministry to oversee three shifts while he wonders who would take such an idea seriously.
He pointed out that John Mahama’s manifesto launch came a week after the NPP had already unveiled its own manifesto, implying that the NDC’s move was a delayed response.
The NPP Communicator wondered if the NDC flagbearer’s decision to launch his manifesto a week after the NPP’s was a deliberate attempt to upstage and overshadow the NPP’s efforts, especially given his recent mockery of the NPP flagbearer.
He noted that John Mahama has had extensive experience as an opposition leader, spanning eight years, and a significant head start in the election, having been elected over a year and a half before Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
This, Aboagye indicated, raises further questions about John Mahama’s intentions in delaying the launch of the NDC manifesto, despite his considerable political experience and advantage.
NDC’s Copycat Move Condemned
Furthermore, Dennis Miracles Aboagye condemned the NDC for launching its manifesto exactly six days after Bawumia’s launch, labeling it a malicious and unethical move.

This tactic, according to Aboagye, exposes the NDC’s lack of original ideas and its reliance on copying others’ strategies.
“Was it your idea to cover his [Dr. Bawumia] launch? Of course, we knew it was to copy his Manifesto but now we know the second strategy was to cover his manifesto launch”.
“You [John Mahama] decided to campaign in Accra today, knowing very well Dr. Bawumia was campaigning in Accra yesterday. Are you in Accra today to cover the campaign he [Dr. Bawumia] did yesterday? Is that your thinking?”

Aboagye further rebuked John Mahama, pointing out the irony that, instead of utilizing the time he has to revitalize his stale and unoriginal ideas, Mahama is squandering it on frivolous complaints and petty grievances that lack any real substance or merit.
He indicated that by doing so, Mahama is not only failing to provide meaningful solutions but also distracting from the real issues that require attention and constructive dialogue.
As such, the NPP Communicator passionately urged politicians to elevate their discourse and leadership, emphasizing that it is time to get serious, focus on the real issues, and offer tangible solutions to the challenges facing the nation.
He advised politicians to prioritize substance over rhetoric and work towards building a better future for all, rather than indulging in frivolous politicking and scoring cheap points.
Aboagye glowingly praised the NPP flagbearer, affirming that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the authentic leader Ghana needs.
He observed that as Vice-President, Dr. Bawumia demonstrated exceptional leadership by shouldering the weight of the entire government, while simultaneously articulating a clear and compelling vision for Ghana’s future.
Aboagye stated that Dr. Bawumia effectively balanced his responsibilities as second-in-command with his role as a forward-thinking leader, showcasing his unique ability to manage the present while shaping the country’s trajectory.
