The Spokesperson for the Mahama 2024 Campaign, Joyce Bawah Mogtari Esq. has slammed the New Patriotic Party administration led by President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, accusing the ruling party of an abysmal neglect of infrastructure development in the Western Region.
Joyce Bawah Mogtari, who is also the Special Aide to the former President expressed shock and dismay at the state of the roads within Takoradi, the Western Regional capital and other commercial towns in the region.
“We have just arrived in #Dominase in the Western Region of Ghana, the Road from The capital, Takoradi to Dominase is literally a death trap.
“Please do well to tag your friends and relatives who live in the Western Region and ask them if Akufo Addo and Bawumia have given the Western Region a fair share of the 12,000 KMs of roads purportedly constructed by the NPP”.

She cast doubt on the government’s much-publicized road infrastructure achievements, chastizing the government for total failures. Adding to her criticisms, Joyce Bawah Mogtari expressed grave concern over the deplorable state school infrastructure within the same region.
She cited the Dominase DA Park cluster of schools, describing the educational infrastructure as “very poor” and “absolutely nothing to write home about.” She lamented the plight of students and teachers subjected to such conditions, underscoring the need for urgent action to address the region’s developmental deficits.

“NPP Should Start Packing Out”
In her remarks, the Campaign Spokesperson for former President John Dramani Mahama called for the NPP to “start packing out of government”, accusing the ruling party of perpetrating a “grand deception” to avoid accountability.
“The extremely weak fundamentals of this Akufo-Addo-led government have exposed and stripped them bare. All their evil plans will fail,” she asserted, signalling her confidence in the electorate’s ability to see through what she termed as a charade.
Joyce Bawah Mogtari’s message also served as a rallying cry for members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to remain vigilant and steadfast in their efforts to ensure victory in the December 2024 general elections.
She emphasized the need to thwart any alleged attempts by the NPP to manipulate the electoral process. “The NPP has absolutely no message. Bawumia has no credibility, and their two-region agenda has failed. We in the NDC must be steady and alert. On D-Day, we must dismantle the NPP’s rigging agenda and save Ghana,” she urged.
Expressing solidarity with the residents of the Western Region, Joyce Bawah Mogtari empathized with their struggles and called on them to vote for the National Democratic Congress 2024 Presidential Candidate, former President John Dramani Mahama and the NDC to restore hope and bring transformative leadership to the country.
“Insha Allah, victory beckons! Vote wisely,” she concluded, reinforcing her faith in the electorate’s ability to make the right choice in the upcoming December 7 general elections.
Her remarks are likely to resonate with communities grappling with infrastructural deficits and serve as a focal point for discussions on government accountability and equitable development.
