Minister of Works and Housing, Francis Asenso-Boakye has entreated Ghanaians to recognize that the growth and development of the country is a shared responsibility.
He mentioned that developed countries have developed because citizens of those countries share in developing their countries by paying taxes.
Thus, he stressed that every Ghanaian must do their part to support the government to achieve the progress they all seek.
“The development we see in places like Europe has been achieved through the payment of taxes. I pray we Ghanaians support the government with honest payment of our taxes.
“Now, when the people pay their taxes, all hands that have a part to play in putting them into the best use for the growth of the country must do so.”

They expressed how proud they were of the unprecedented development brought to the Bantama Constituency by their current Member of Parliament.

They also noted that the MP supported BECE candidates, some youth with startup capitals to start businesses, to gain admission into higher institutions of learning. They also highlighted the recruitment of some youth into the police, army, immigration, fire service, and other security services as some of the feats Mr. Asenso-Boakye achieved for his constituents.
Once more, the Assembly Members expressed great appreciation to their Member of Parliament for lobbying for the construction of the Atafoa Bridge where commuters, over the years, have suffered flooding leading to the death of some who attempted to cross during the heavy overflows.
Speaking on behalf of the Assembly Members, Hon. Francis Amoako, Chairman of the Bantama Sub-Metro urged the MP to do more for his people.
”From the time of Hon. Richard Anane till now, we have not seen any MP who has brought us, the people of Bantama, this kind of development Hon. Asenso-Boakye has brought to us within this short period of his being our MP. We all have to support him to do more for us.
“But as Oliver Twist would do, we are asking that he keeps his lobbying skills well ignited to help solve the other challenges we have in the constituency, and we are very sure he shall do them.”
Hon. Francis Amoako
