Member of Parliament for North Tongu Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has reacted to the statement issued by the National Identification Authority (NIA), with regards to the issuance of a Ghana card to Adu Gyamfi also known as Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng.
The NIA has described Ablakwa’s statement and allegations as lacking merit and asked the public to ignore him. Reacting to the response from the NIA, Ablakwa described the statement as meandering and circumlocutory.
“It is now a notorious fact that Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng was appointed to the Board of the National Cathedral of Ghana by President Akufo-Addo as Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng. It is also incontestable that the National Cathedral incorporation documents and other companies incorporated bear the name Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng.
“He has simultaneously used Kwabena Adu Gyamfi and acquired supporting national IDs for his fraudulent modus operandi.”

Ablakwa has also denied making assertions that the man of God was issued with two different cards as stated by the NIA.
“And for the record, at no point did I assert that the NIA issued two cards with the names Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng and Kwabena Adu Gyamfi. I have been consistent in revealing that contrary to what many Ghanaians may expect, there is no Victor Kusi Boateng in the NIA database.
“That was quite a piteous and mediocre attempt at discrediting an MP simply carrying out his constitutional oversight mandate. I shall duly ignore the other distortions and deliberate obfuscations”.
Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa
Ablakwa advised that the NIA would want to desist from pedestrian distortions and get to work with other state institutions with the objective of achieving credible data integration and thereby preventing collective embarrassment from another Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng -Kwabena Adu Gyamfi saga.
“Just read the meandering and circumlocutory statement from the NIA. The NIA clearly confirms my unimpeachable and unassailable finding that they issued a Ghana Card in the name of Kwabena Adu Gyamfi and with a different date of birth contrary to other IDs & incorporation documents issued by government,” said Ablakwa.
He has simultaneously used Kwabena Adu Gyamfi and acquired supporting national IDs for his fraudulent modus operandi.
“How pathetic and incredulous that despite all the verbose claims by the NIA of an integrated identification system, one individual styled as both Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng and Kwabena Adu Gyamfi has been incredibly successful at outwitting multiple state institutions with his double identity- institutions which include the NIA, GRA, Office of the Registrar of Companies, DVLA and the Passport Office.”
Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa
He therefore, claimed that as a result, this has terribly exposed the shallowness of the NIA’s integration grandstanding. Ablakwa said a statement by the NIA on the Ghana Card status of Kwabena Adu Gyamfi confirmed that in their records, Reverened Victor Kusi Boateng did not exist.
He has justified his publications of Kusi Boateng’s documents with the view that the clergyman was using two names because he was engaging in criminal activities with one of the identities (i.e. Kwabena Adu Gyamfi.)
How Did He Get It?
Prophet Kofi Oduro of the Alabaster International Ministry (AIM), has questioned how it is that official identification cards of citizens are accessed and published by others freely in the public.
He made comments on the raging issues of the National Cathedral project and serial allegations that one of its Board of Trustee members, Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng, was using double identity in official capacity.

Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has for the past weeks released documentation to prove that Kusi Boateng was the same as one Kwabena Adu Gyamfi, and that both names are used by the clergyman who is secretary to the Cathedral Board of Trustees.
The MP has so far released a number of passports, drivers’ license, Tax Identification Number data and details of company registration that Kusi Boateng (Adu Gyamfi) has used in the past. It is the speed of the release of such information that Prophet Oduro addressed this in one of his sermons.
“This week I have been intrigued that I am sitting down and then somebody brings out the passport, drivers’ license of another. Names, dates of birth and all that, where did they get it from? As I am standing here, where will you get my passport? How will you get my drivers’ license or Ghana Card? That somebody will be able to dig and pull out somebody’s documents?”
Prophet Dr. Kofi Oduro
He further admonished his congregation to be careful, “be very careful, with the people surrounding you.”
