Nana Akomea

Nana Akomea, a prominent member of the Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia campaign team has claimed that the Vice President is the finest candidate amongst all other contenders to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) into the general elections of 2024

He emphasized that Dr. Bawumia is the only candidate who can successfully appeal to both party strongholds and the best candidate to end the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) eight-year streak of winning the Presidency.

As revealed by Nana Akomea, the Volta Region and the Zongo settlements are the NDC’s traditional strongholds. However, he firmly believed that the NDC in the Northern Region and the Zongos would be endangered and put under a lot of strain because of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

“He is the best person to reach across the NPP strongholds and the NDC strongholds. He is the best person among all the aspirants”, he opined.

According to Nana Akomea, replies from the delegates to Dr. Bawumia’s message about being the best candidate to break the eight have been “extraordinary.”

“Delegates’ responses everywhere have been extraordinary, particularly in Ashanti Region. I was particularly shocked by the reaction of the delegates because seven of the gentlemen in the contest are from Ashanti Region. So, I wasn’t expecting that kind of reaction Dr Bawumia got in the Ashanti Region.”

Alan Has Better Solutions To Ghana’s Problems

On his side, Yaw Buaben Asamoa, a member of the Alan Kyerematen campaign team, also stated that Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, another Presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is the most qualified person to address Ghana’s current difficulties.

He promised that if Mr. Kwadwo Kyerematen is chosen to represent the party and ultimately wins the 2024 Presidential election, he will create jobs for the throngs of unemployed youth.

Moreover, Yaw Buaben Asamoa claimed that Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen when compared to the other aspirants, is the most qualified person to lead the NPP and address Ghana’s current difficulties.

“Ultimately, all of Ghana will vote not only for the party…this is a message for all of us. At the moment, we are going through a very difficult situation, as far as governance is concerned, especially in the economic area. So genuinely, we have difficulties, nobody is disputing that and we have also made a lot of progress.

“We are not saying Alan’s campaign is divorced from governance but, we are saying that solutions are needed. Former president J. A. Kufuor offered free maternal care, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo provided education to all children, who is to give them jobs? Alan Kyermaten.”

Yaw Buaben Asamoa

Additionally praising Mr. Kyerematen’s accomplishments over the years, Mr. Buaben Asamoa urged the delegates to support Alan Kyerematen in the upcoming NPP Presidential elections to allow Ghanaians enjoy the plans that will be put in place to support the people of the nation.

“You need a problem-solving leader, you need to entrust leadership to someone who is experienced in creating framework for jobs, and Alan Kyerematen has demonstrated that he’s the man for that job.”
