She disclosed that her mother was deeply troubled by such reports and reacted strongly to this particular one. Nana Ama had to reassure her mother that these claims were untrue and could never happen in her home.

Speaking on her show, Mcbrown emphasized that she is not the kind of woman who can be subjected to abuse in her own house.

In her own words, she said:

“Do I look like a lady whose husband will beat her? Or do you think such a thing (abuse) can happen in my house? I’m not a lady who will allow herself to be beaten by her husband.

“I have heard a lot. The other day, I heard I was beaten, and my mother called me. She asked how it happened, and I told her that such a thing can never happen to me. I assured her that it is impossible for such a thing to occur in my house. Me? It can’t happen in my house”.
