Israeli attacks have continued across the Gaza Strip amid news that Israel and Hamas have agreed to a Qatar-mediated deal for a four-day truce.
The pause in fighting is not expected to take place before Thursday.
A farm in Khan Younis was bombarded, and an attack was carried out on the Nuseirat refugee camp where dozens of Palestinians were killed.
In northern Gaza, areas around the Indonesian Hospital and Kamal Adwan Hospital were targeted, and an ambulance was reportedly shelled.
The Director of the Kamal Adwan hospital disclosed that the situation in and around the hospital is “catastrophic.”
“Shelling and bombardment are increasing everywhere in the vicinity of the hospital,” Ahmed al-Kahlout told reporters.
“A lot of buildings have been badly affected. We need to keep in mind this hospital is now only one operating hospital from Wadi Gaza till the northern Gaza,” he said.
The Jabalia refugee camp, which had previously been hit many times by Israeli forces, was also bombarded.
Several people were also killed in Israeli attack in the al-Falloujah area in Jabalia refugee camp. At least 100 Palestinians were killed in the attacks.
The Israeli army announced that its troops are continuing their operation in the Gaza Strip adding that in the past day, an aircraft was directed to “strike terrorist infrastructure” killing a “number of terrorists.”
In a situational update, the army said that ground troops conducted raids in Sheikh Zeid and Jabalia in the north of Gaza.
“This morning, troops neutralised a terror tunnel shaft from which a Hamas terrorist exited and fired at the soldiers. Moreover, troops identified terrorists and located weapons in a structure used by the Hamas terrorist organisation. The troops killed the terrorists and destroyed the structure.”

The Israeli army revealed that a unit commander in its Golani Brigade was killed during the fighting in northern Gaza.
At least 71 Israeli soldiers have been killed since the start of its ground incursion into the Gaza Strip. However, Palestinian fighters claim that losses by Israeli forces are greater than that.
While Israel launched its attack on Gaza, its targeting of Palestinians in the occupied West Bank also continued.
Five Palestinians have been killed and five injured in an Israeli raid on the Tulkarem refugee camp.
One Palestinian was killed during an Israeli raid in Azzun, east of Qalqilya and at least 23 Palestinians were detained in a raid on Dheisheh refugee camp south of Bethlehem.
Other raids took place in Awarta, southeast of Nablus; al-Dahiriyah and Idhna, south of Hebron; and Jalazone refugee camp, north of Ramallah.
Pope Decries Israel-Hamas Conflict, Calls It “Terrorism”
According to Pope Francis, the Israel-Hamas conflict has gone beyond war to become “terrorism.”
The ongoing war has resulted in the deaths of more than 14,100 Palestinians in Gaza and about 1,200 in Israel since October 7, 2023.
Speaking after separate meetings with Israeli relatives of captives held by Hamas and with Palestinians with families in Gaza, the Pope said that he heard directly how “both sides are suffering” in the conflict.
“This is what wars do. But here we have gone beyond wars. This is not war. This is terrorism,” he said.
The Pontiff averred, “Please, let us go ahead with peace. Pray for peace, pray a lot for peace.”
He asked for prayers so that both sides would “not go ahead with passions, which in the end, kill everyone”.
