Shatta Wale’s manager, Lawrence Asiamah, also known as Bulldog, has disclosed that he has voted out Corrupt Official one and his family on Election Day.

Bulldog is known to be a loyal follower of the NDC and John Mahama, therefore, it is obvious he voted out President Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

He shared a photo voting to his Facebook page and urged Ghanaians to also vote out Akufo-Addo. He wrote:

“JUST VOTED OUT CORRUPT OFFICIAL 1 & FAMILY. Remember to do so too”.

His post has triggered a massive response with some people saying they will also vote for John Mahama. Nana Nketia, for instance, has said that he will also vote for Mahama

Meanwhile, several people in the creative industry have taken to their social media pages to share pictures of themselves voting. Also, they advised Ghanaians to go out and exercise their civil rights by voting for the person they deem fit to govern the country.

Actress Gloria Sarfo shared a picture of herself after voting and pleaded with her followers to go out and vote if they have not. She wrote:

“Have you VOTED yet? Please go and do it now if you haven’t, cos it’s your CIVIL RIGHTS.

“Let’s VOTE for PEACE, let’s VOTE for Ghana”.

Most of her fans in the comment section shared how glad they were that she went out to vote, and commended her for doing so.

Besides, Prince David Osei took to his Instagram page and posted a video of himself showing his inked finger that confirms that he has voted. In the video, he also encouraged Ghanaians to vote and vote wisely.

Just like Gloria Sarfo’s fans, his fans commended him for going out to vote but not all were happy about his video he posted. Some stated that he was “talking too much” whilst others asked him to “comot for there”.

That notwithstanding, Controversial Ghanaian media personality, Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa who is popularly known as Afia Schwarzenegger also shared a picture of herself and her children voting.

She also received a lot of love for exercising her civil rights. Some went further to ask who she went out to vote for but she did not reply to such requests.

Some artists have also taken this opportunity to be sarcastic and ridicule the whole election process

Ghanaian rapper and musician, Pappy Kojo, who has been ‘stranded’ in Italy since the lockdown due to the Coronavirus, has taken to his Twitter page to ask where he can vote. He wrote:

“Where can I vote?

“I wasn’t aware I was supposed to register first, where can I register?

“As a Ghanaian citizen who got stranded in Italy I have every right to know where to vote, where do I vote this morning?”

Some of his followers backlashed him and criticized him that he was “not being serious” and should not be joking about such serious matters.
