Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has come to the aid of Psalm Adjeteyfio who is popularly known as TT of ‘Taxi Driver’ fame.

This comes after TT in an interview revealed that he risks being evicted from his house and urgently needs 3000 Ghana cedis to pay his bills. According to him, although he is popular for his role in the Taxi driver show, he couldn’t make enough to put up a structure for himself and lives in a rented apartment.

Following this, according to some sources close to the Vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has opted to settle his rent bill of 3000 Ghana cedis while making moves to get him a permanent residence.

According to her, she could not control her emotions after seeing the viral video and has reached out to pay for the rent of the actor and also sort out his housing issues for the rest of his life.

A star has become a charity case.

During an interview, the host mistook the location as one of TT’s properties. But he was immediately corrected by the actor.

Psalm Adjeteyfio said, “This house is a rented apartment. I am just telling you to help me pay my rent. I don’t own it. I am renting it. This is a rented apartment.”

He said that no matter what name he gave himself, he couldn’t build a structure he could call his own.

“I don’t even have a home I could call my own; I live in a leased flat”.

According to the Psalm Adjeteyfio, he has stopped working and lived on the benevolence of good people.

“I don’t do anything. I have become a charity case. Right now, immediately, we need Ghc3,000 cedis. That would cover six months advance payment. So please something and you want to give me something. The number is 0559234834”.

Well, Psalm Adjetefio seems to be in a serious financial crisis since this isn’t the first time he has appealed to the public for financial help.

It can be recalled that in 2019, Psalm appealed to Ghanaians to help him pay the bill for his heart surgery.

In an interview, the actor said that although he is working to pay the bills, he is not strong enough to respond to every casting call.

He also disclosed that his wives along with some family members and friends who he could depend on have left him to fend for himself.

The Taxi Driver actor stated that he did not want to go public with his ailment but had no choice when his body began failing him. He explained that he was advised by a lady to call Delay for an interview that brought his ailment to the public.

He said that a lot of Ghanaians across the world reached out to him after the interview. However, he added that the cash donations he received were still not enough to pay for his surgery. He pleaded with Ghanaians to help him with more contributions.
