Ghanaian Highlife musician, Bisa Kdei has been announced as one of the headline artists at the biggest music festival in Sierra Leone, ‘EcoFest’.

The two-day festival, ‘EcoFest’, slated for the National Stadium in Freetown on November 26-27, 2021, would witness an array of music stars from across the continent to showcase their musical prowess at one of the best music festivals in the world and Ghana’s Bisa Kdei will be one of such artists.

Meanwhile, amidst rumors of reuniting, Nigeria’s P-square brothers, Peter and Paul Okoye are expected to also perform at the music festival. Some reports suggest that the duo has recently started to get along despite their past feud. There have even been recent reports disclosing that the brothers have started following each other on Instagram. If they perform together at the 2021 ‘EcoFest’, this will be the first time the duo will be seen on the same stage after several years of splitting.

It is worth noting that this year’s show will be hosted by Nigeria’s comedians, Kenny Blaq and Broda Shaggi and Richie Obama, and Phebean Swill from Sierra Leone.

The music festival themed, ‘Rejuvenation’ returns this year after the 2020 event was not staged due to the Coronavirus pandemic which halted many musical shows across the globe.

‘EcoFest’ is an African Music Festival that is hosted annually in different countries in Africa founded by Kabaka of KME in Serra Leone and Bola Ray of Empire in Ghana.

Organized by Kabaka Entertainment, ‘EcoFest’ has been attended by people from all walks of life with some memorable performances over the past years.

It can be recalled that in 2018, the festival was hosted in Gambia at the independence stadium with performances from A-list artists such as Stonebwoy, Takanza Zion from Guinea, Timaya from Nigeria, Jizzle from Gambia, and a couple of Sierra Leonean artists.

The next edition of the event returned with the theme, ‘The Evolution’ which was hosted in Sierra Leone at the Freetown National Stadium which brought the biggest crowd in the history of Sierra Leon entertainment. Performing artists for that year’s event included Ghana’s Kuami Eugene, Diamond Platnumz from Tanzania, Slimcase from Nigeria, and several artists from the African diaspora. It was hosted by Nigerian comedian, Basketmouth and Sierra Leonean, Pheban Swill.
