Don’t Lie About What You Do- Shatta Wale Slams Jackie Appiah

Reading Time: 3 mins read
Shaxi Chief Executive Officer of the Shatta Movement, Charles Nii Armah, popularly known as Shatta Wale has revealed that he has bought a house of one of his 'baby mamas' in London.

CEO of the Shatta Movement, Shatta Wale.

Ghanaian award-winning actress, Jackie Appiah, is currently trending on social media, after controversial Ghanaian dancehall artist, Shatta Wale, made some disparaging allegations against her.

Shatta Wale has been dragging some Ghanaian celebrities for some time now over their inability to support each other and how others try to live a fake life on social media.

It appears that now, Jackie Appiah has found herself in the bad books of Shatta Wale. In a video sighted online, Shatta Wale backlashed Jackie Appiah for “gallivanting around the country” with the title “celebrity” while she is not. According to him, Jackie Appiah doesn’t live a life that depicts a celebrity.

Shatta Wale also claimed that the actress does not earn money from her acting roles because no movie sells up to $1million. He further accused Jackie of funding her extravagant lifestyle from the money she gets from “sleeping with men”.

“Jackie Appiah, I remember during Corona time when they said we should come and support. I said if we should come and support, at least there must be something small [money] to appreciate us with. But you went elsewhere to say that you don’t like what I said because why should I talk like that. Huh, Jackie, you don’t act. I used to respect you but the picture you are trying to paint to female actresses and whatever, stop it. Stop it because people know what you are doing in Ghana. When was the last time you did a movie that sold one million dollars? But you always want people to know that you are living life because you are blessed.

“There are actresses who are suffering. The (SIC) we know. We too can turn gays. If I turn gay, you can imagine the things I will acquire. The (SIC) going on we know. Don’t come and pretend you are a celebrity. A celebrity lives a life that is of a celebrity. Check who a celebrity is in America or Europe. Don’t come and lie to the next generation”.

Shatta Wale didn’t stop his social media rant there, as the singer shifted his anger at dancehall artist, Stonebwoy. According to him, Stonebwoy brags with his English but has no ‘sense’.

Shatta Wale rained insults on his colleague, for teaming up with the National Lottery Authority to fight lotto fraud in Ghana.

Shatta Wale, who seemed vex about an undisclosed issue, started ranting about how bad the showbiz industry is and now slammed all celebrities who teamed up with the NLA to fight lotto fraud that has been going on in the country.

Shatta Wale then singled out Stonebwoy insulting him that he doesn’t have sense in real life but he behaves as if “he’s sensible when he speaks” and he’s supposed to know more because he speaks and reads very well. However  he didn’t do what he’s supposed to do before joining the NLA to fight lotto fraud.
