Black Sherif's Manager Breaks Silence on Allegations of Ingratitude leveled against his artiste

Purported manager of Black Sherif, Madonna, has finally reacted to some allegations of ingratitude leveled against his artist, towards his former alleged manager, Snap.

Several social media users, after the premiere of the remixed version of Black Sherif’s hit song, ‘Second Sermon’, which featured Burna Boy, accused Balck Sherif of being ungrateful towards Snap. They claimed that Snap clothed, housed, and fed Black Sherif only for him to turn his back on his alleged manager because he is gaining grounds in the music industry.

In an interview, Madonna reacting to those allegations stated that Snap only came in as an investor after the successful ‘Second Sermon’ hit and further claimed that even the shooting, of the remix video with Burna Boy, was produced and shot by EMPIRE Entertainment, not by Snap.

“Snap came on board as an investor. We started working with him after Second Sermon, and the only project we released under his support was ‘Second Sermon Remix’. Even with that, his investment wasn’t neck-deep into the project. The production of the remix and shooting of the video was funded by EMPIRE”.

Madonna further disclosed that indeed, Snap provided the team with a few things, including shelter. However, Madonna clarified that Snap didn’t buy any house for Black Sherif as suggested on social media.

“It was his [Snap] house, and we were all living in it including Snap himself and his boys”.

Madonna revealed that unfortunately, he was later sacked from the house due to a misunderstanding that ensued between Snap and him. Explaining what caused the brawl, Madonna noted that the agreed-upon ‘separation of powers’ in the management of Black Sherif was not adhered to by Snap. He disclosed that Snap was overstepping his boundaries when he was managing affairs regarding the young singer.

“Snap suddenly became a Booking Manager; he began to schedule events and interviews for my artiste without my permission. Fast forward, he also made himself the Road Manager for my artist”.

Madonna

When asked whether there was a contract binding Snap and Black Sherif, Madonna confirmed there was. However, he declined to mention details of what the contract entailed.

“The contract is very sensitive on the management level so, I wouldn’t want to discuss it in public”, Madonna said.

‘Second Sermon’ was one of Black Sherif’s biggest hits in 2021. The song’s popularity resulted in a remix with Burna Boy.

The song brought to light on the shackles of street life and it drew more people to the artistt, with many wanting to know and see more of him and his talent.

Meanwhile, recently, a woman claimed on Facebook that she is the mother of Black Sherif. According to her, no one can kill or harm Black Sherif because, he has been “spiritually fortified”.

Madonna, refuting the claims made by the woman, indicated that even though he has no personal relations with Black Sherif’s mother, he is privy to the information that the artist’s parents are not living in the country.
