Kevin Hart hilariously gifted Chris Rock a goat called Will Smith live on stage during their recent comedy show.

The actor presented the farm animal to the comedian during their ‘Rock Hart: Only Headliners Allowed’ show at New York’s Madison Square Garden, with the goat’s name making reference to Chris’ Oscars altercation with the King Richard star.

Will famously stormed on-stage during March’s Oscars ceremony and slapped Chris across the face after he made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaven head, with the move shocking fans around the world. But Kevin, who is friends with both stars, made light of the situation as he surprised Chris with the goat, much to the amusement of the audience.

In a clip shared on social media, Kevin is seen holding the goat by a lead as he remarked: “What did you just say?”

Dave Chappelle, who joined Kevin and Chris during the show, then said: “Don’t act like I’m crazy, you brought the goat here. This man is confused with what is happening. What you gonna name this goat Chris?”

Kevin then quickly jumped in to declare: “The name is Will Smith”.

Speaking in an interview, Kevin explained the reason for gifting the unusual present

“Chris is a mentor, friend, inspiration. He’s a large part of the reason that I am where I am today in my career. Just from his advice, his insight, etc. He’s my G.O.A.T [greatest of all time], he’s my guy, and I wanted him to feel that”.

However, the ‘Central Intelligence’ star’s kind gesture backfired when the goat left Chris a gift of its own.

“In my mind, I thought the goat’s gonna come out and do a tight 2 minutes. Instead, he pooped on Chris’s shoes. He destroyed Chris’s shoes. Chris had on some white moon boots, and the goat got him”.

It comes after Kevin said Will is in a better space than he was in the aftermath of the Oscars.

The ‘DC League of Super-Pets’ actor explained that Will is still apologetic after smacking Chris Rock on stage over a joke the comic made about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, but is ready to move forward and not dwell on the past.

“Will is apologetic, you know, he’s in a better space, of course, than what he was after” Kevin said.

After the incident, Smith went to India for spiritual healing, it was claimed, and has not been seen much since. It is not known if he is in contact with Rock, who has been in the news this week for his new romance with actress Lake Bell.

“People are human and as humans sometimes we make mistakes. So, it’s not about talking about the past, it’s about acknowledging the present and doing your best to move forward”.

Kevin also hopes the pair can put their differences behind them.

“I can only hope that the two of them find a way to find some solace in that and move past it. I just like good energy. I love to see people be the best. I still love him [Will], I still love Chris, and, you know, you can’t judge a person by one thing. Ultimately, life goes on and people grow, so give him the opportunity to do so”.
