Ghanaian Tiktok ‘Stars’ Should Stay Humble – Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin

Lil Win and Tiktokers

Kumawood actor, musician, and comedian, Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin has advised Tiktokers, especially the ones who call themselves ‘stars’ to stay humble and enjoy prominence.

According to Lilwin, Tiktok is wonderful and will fade out eventually. He reasoned that if they are getting money from gifts and tokens on the app, it is only wise they do not lead people the wrong way.

“The app that you find yourself on is temporary. Many apps have come and gone. Nothing is forever. So don’t take pride in a place where you get your daily bread. You don’t take arrogance and mindless talk there. That is where you eat”.

“So I advise my sisters (female Tiktokers) to humble themselves because without the app, pardon me, you don’t have anything, secondly, you are not a star”.

Lil Win

In the interview, the actor maintained that Tiktokers are not celebrities. He insisted that outside the app, people barely know those claiming popularity on the app.

Lil Win speaks on why he built a school

The actor has revealed that even though he was not great at school and could not get the marks to push his education, he has been motivated to build a school that could provide good education to thousands of Ghanaian kids.

He continued to speak on what inspired him to build a school to help his community.

“I loved school, but I was not good academically. I always failed my exams, and I was not great at learning. However, education does not determine one’s future; you can still make it regardless”.

Lil Win

Speaking, Lil Win said that he wanted to leave a legacy, which is why he decided to build a school to educate Ghanaian children.

“I wasn’t able to do well with schooling, so I have decided to provide education to these kids. I have subsidized my fees in order to make it possible for every child to attend my school. This is the legacy I want to leave behind”.

Kwadwo Nkansah established the Greatminds International School few years ago in the Ashanti Region. According to him, the school has been able to produce its first batch of BECE candidates and is also looking forward to impacting the lives of all.
