The ‘mehia odo’ hitmaker said that he has gotten dynamics into the current style of music blending highlife and afro-pop to suit the current generation’s music style.

“You know many other things have changed in the music, scene and that we are a bit old folks and have to adapt to the style of today even though I am still composing the highlife but fuse it with the current beat making it the taste of this generation current generation”.

The Ghanaian highlife musician explained that the song ‘Ayele’ is a love song telling how to have a good time with your partner or loved one at a very cool place and also adding up or spicing up the love with some other things to make sure the partner becomes extremely happy.

He continued to explain that the song titled ‘Ayele’ is a typical Ghanaian name named by the Ga people which everyone loves, hence using it as a title.

The highlife musician said that he feels very sad about the influx of Nigerian musicians in our airspaces.

He made this known after he was asked by a Hitz show host what he makes out of the proliferation of Nigerian music in our air space in Ghana.

In responding to the question, he said he feels very sad about the recent dominance of Nigerian music in our airspaces because Ghanaian music used to be in the lead back then but for now everything has dropped.

He went on to say that he hopes and prays that Ghanaian music finds its feet again only if we can go back to doing what we were good at by tweaking it in a modernized way.

“I feel very sad because once upon a time we were leading but all of a sudden everything just dropped so it is really sad. But I hope and pray that we change things and if we go back and then maybe try to do what we were doing but try to modernize it or tweak it a little then we can move forward but for now if we stick to what we are doing then it will be very difficult to break the barriers”.
