Ruff Town Record signee, Wendy Shay, has disclosed that she never had the experience of being an underground artiste, thanks to her manager, Bullet.

Speaking in an interview, Wendy noted that she quickly rose to fame with her maiden Uber Driver song. “Coming into the music industry was a mystery. Nobody saw me coming and then I just came”, she disclosed.

“I came with my first song ‘Uber Driver’. Bullet just introduced me on the VGMA big stage and in the next month I was everywhere. I have been like that, that is my personality and it’s hard to figure me out.

“When it comes to me, I always find new things about myself which is very intriguing and amazing.”

Wendy Shay

The singer gushed about her growth in the industry. “My personality has grown. People cannot understand me, that is why I call myself an enigma, because an enigma is something it is hard to understand”, she said.

Addressing “haters” who may mock the fact that “it was a free show,” to undermine the overwhelming attendance, she challenged: “attempt a free show and see if even a bird will show up.”

The popular singer pleaded with the crowd to be motivated by her experience. “When I came into this industry, people said i don’t know how to sing and that I am not talented”, she revealed.

“Some even said, ‘Wendy Shay is not beautiful’,” she added and showing disgust, invited the audience to take a good look at her voluptuous ”body.” She spun around, bent over, twerked and emphasised: “Look at this nyash [bottom].”
