Broadcaster Abeiku Aggrey Santana has been trolled on social media after he was shown in a video singing birthdays songs to ‘impress’ his boss Dr. Osei Kwame Despite.
Abeiku was also trolled for being part of the group that accompanied the business tycoon (Despite) to former President John Agyekum Kuffuor’s home on the occasion of his birthday.
The radio host and the former President were seen shaking hands while at Mr. Kuffuor’s home. On the back of these circumstances, some netizens have claimed that Abeiku Santana wants to be recognized everywhere, hence the trolls on social media platforms.
Some made fun of him, stating that even though Mr. Kuffuor didn’t notice Santana’s presence, the talented broadcaster requested a handshake and wanted to be recognized at all cost.
But in reaction to the trolls, highlife musician Rex Owusu Marfo, also known as Rex Omar in the entertainment world, claims that few people are aware of Abeiku Santana’s true identity.
He claimed that others are reluctant to comprehend Abeiku’s extreme modesty.
Abeiku is an outstanding person with a heart of gold who will stop at nothing to help others, according to Rex Omar, who disclosed that he has known Abeiku for more than 25 years.
He cautioned that although Abeiku Santana is not a braggart or someone who likes to show off, people like him shouldn’t be taken for granted.
Rex Omar’s post about Abeiku Santana said;
“It looks like people misunderstand the word HUMILITY. I’ve known Abeiku Aggrey for over 25 years and he is just an amazing and genius magnet who will always go the extra mile to give a helping hand. Do not take such souls for granted just because they’ve chosen not to be braggarts and showoffs”.

The Ghanaian media personality, Abeiku Santana has spoken about the controversies surrounding his display at the 61st birthday reception of his boss and CEO of the Despite Media Group of companies, Dr. Osei Kwame Despite.
According to the Okay FM presenter, he takes delight in the fact that he is able to walk within the corridors of power and move with great people.
He has been trending in a hilarious way due to what many Twitter users refer to as a display of unnecessary or excessive excitement.
Members of the East Legon Executive Club began the celebration by displaying a fleet of cars and singing birthday songs to the business mogul.
Captured in several viral videos, Abeiku Santana captures to have been pushed to the front to sing louder for the celebrant, as his voice is clearly heard above all the wealthy men present.
His posture sparked a debate on Twitter, with some praising him and genuinely loving his boss and others criticizing him for forcing himself to be seen among the wealthy class of men.
Abeiku Santana indicated that his humility toward Despite isn’t ‘cosmetic’ adding that, he had worked to earn a seat at ‘the table of men’.
Abeiku’s statement was in reaction to attacks, following a viral video where he was displaying to try hard to please his boss in a way that was unpleasant.
However, in what appears to be a reply to the critics, the journalist posted a video in a subtle way to his detractors in which he was shaking his boss’ hand and casting a blessing upon his life.
