Ghanaian media personality, Andy Dosty, has disclosed that Shatta Wale has apologized for disrespecting his mother.

This follows Andy Dosty’s outburst on live radio. During a discussion on his ‘Daybreak Hitz’ show, Andy was peeved about the fact that Shatta Wale publicly insulted his mother, yet fans were expecting him to promote his new ‘Maali’ album.

He fumed with rage:

“You want me to talk about it? An artist that stands on stage and insults my mother, and you want me to what? If you don’t have sense, I do. If you don’t respect, don’t come here. The woman who gave birth to me has lived a good life and has a good place to live. That’s all I have said. I love my mother and nobody, nobody… I won’t speak ill of anyone’s mother; she raised me well. You can fool around. The fooling is too much in this country.

“You will be sitting there, and they will want to come and sit here and say they want to promote their stuff. What do you want to promote? If that woman didn’t give birth to me, where would you know me from? Foolish guy”.

But in a new twist to events, Andy has disclosed that Shatta Wale has channeled an apology to him.

In a discussion with Sally Mane and DJ Slim, Andy Dosty said Shatta Wale reached out through someone, with whom he spoke for more than 50 minutes.

The Hitz FM presenter said:

“All I can say is that we have spoken, he called a big man and that big man called me. He channeled the apology through someone and we spoke on the phone more than 50 minutes. He also expressed some of my actions he didn’t like. Even my mother called and said we are brothers so we shouldn’t let this go far”.

Andy however, emphasized that although they had spoken, the issue won’t just be trashed like that.

He added:

“He has spoken to me. Shatta Wale has spoken to me. He has apologized but that isn’t all. I won’t let go just like that”.

Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale hurled insults at some popular Ghanaian media personalities.

He slammed Andy Dosty and Abeiku Santana for what he described as their biased attitude toward him.

Halfway through his performance on stage at a concert at Takoradi, Shatta Wale paused and raised some allegations against the two astute media personalities.

Shatta Wale said some persons including Andy Dosty and Abeiku Santana have resorted to countering his unbreakable record of featuring on Beyonce’s track with Sarkodie’s latest late Bob Marley feature.

He said that these personalities have tried to place Sarkodie on the same pedestal as him (Shatta Wale) following the former’s feature in Bob Marley’s ‘Stir It Up’ remix.

He fumed:

“Now I have made them confused. Because I have featured Beyonce so you want to counter me with Sarkodie. Tell those radio presenters, Andy Dosty and Abeiku Santana, your mothers!”.

Shatta Wale further went on to recall another instance where Andy Dosty displayed his bias towards him during an interview with blogger Ameyaw Debrah.

He asserted:

“Sometimes, when I speak my mind, people ask why I do. Recently, I was listening to radio and I heard Andy Dosty interviewing Ameyaw Debrah, Ameyaw Debrah said I threatened to kill him. So Andy Dosty, you kept asking, whether he didn’t feel threatened. Herh Andy Dosty, you’re a fool”.
