Blakk Rasta Questions BBC Over T.B. Joshua Documentary

Outspoken Media Personality, Blakk Rasta

Outspoken media personality cum musician, Blakk Rasta, has questioned the allegations levelled against the late T.B. Joshua in a documentary released by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).

According to him, he is not convinced by the allegations made by some individuals associated with the late Prophet T.B. Joshua claiming that the man of God performed fake miracles.

He explained there are miracles T.B. Joshua performed in some European and Asian countries where people got healed from their ailments and others touched their television and were delivered from sicknesses.

Blakk Rasta objected to the BBC documentary about the late clergy, indicating that nobody could convince him that his miracles were fake.

“I will not be convinced if anybody tells me that the miracles that T.B. Joshua performed were all fake, I wouldn’t believe that. My brother, he [TB Joshua] travelled to Japan. He went all the way to Asia, Europe and even America. Are you telling me that the tens of thousands of people who were seen falling and vomiting blood all had been paid to do a certain Cantata?” he quizzed.

“Are you telling me that even family members who we knew, went to the SCOAN and were allegedly healed of cancer or other dangerous diseases they came home and were healthy, are you telling me that they’re all fake? How about those who just touched the TV and then got healed? How do you explain that? I will not believe that,” he said.

His comments come after the BBC released a documentary shedding light on alleged abuses within the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), led by the late Prophet TB Joshua.

The documentary, which has sparked widespread discussions, exposes instances of sexual abuse, rape allegations, and manipulations of miracles within the SCOAN.

There have been mixed reactions to the documentary with some people criticizing the prophet, and others contesting the authenticity of the allegations levelled against the deceased man of God.

Berating Chairman Wontumi

Blakk Rasta chastised the Ashanti regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi over reports of him disrespecting the king of the Ashanti Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

According to him, Chairman Wontumi’s remarks that tend to undermine the supremacy of Otumfuo are despicable and unacceptable considering the prestige of the Ashanti Kingdom.

He lambasted Chairman Wontumi for disrespecting Otumfuo, adding that his fame and wealth in the country should not deceive him into being engaged in a feud with the Asantehene.

Blakk Rasta called on Otumfuo to deal with Chairman Wontumi whom he described as “arrogant” for him to learn a lesson from speaking against authorities.

“You cannot disrespect Asantehene [Otumfuo Osei Tutu II]. Even if he strips naked and runs around like David, respect the throne that he sits on. That kingdom is so historically powerful and bigger than Asantehene. So, if you disrespect the Asantehene, you are not only disrespecting one king, you are disrespecting all the kings that ever sat on the throne, and you are disrespecting that ancient kingdom,” he disclosed.

“How on earth should Chairman Wontumi open his mouth because of some dirty galamsey money that he has, sit back and say that he has built his kingdom and that you have your police, you have your military, and that Asantehene cannot order you around? It means that I will spew every kind of nonsense into your face and tell you anything that I want to. That’s what it means,” Blakk Rasta said.

He also called on President Akufo-Addo to ensure that Chairman Wontumi is brought to book over his disrespectful comments.

“Apart from Asantehene summoning the arrogant Chairman Wontumi, I call upon the president of the country [Akufo-Addo]. If he’s truly the president and is in charge, you need to call this man to book,” he said.
