Shatta Wale Brags About Some Possibilities

Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, and Stonebwoy

Dancehall musician, Shatta Wale has disclosed that if people respect Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Black Sherif, and other musicians, then he has made that possible.

Shatta Wale, talking about why he dislikes media personalities; Abeiku Santana and Andy Dosty noted that he has done a lot for the Ghanaian entertainment industry and deserves to be praised and acknowledged.

Shatta Wale stated that regardless of his imperfections as a musician and the numerous beefs and fights he has had with other musicians, he is the reason why Ghanaian musicians are living flashy lives presently.

The musician has stated that before he started music, Ghanaian musicians were not valued, poor, and disrespected.

According to him, in the olden days, musicians such as Daddy Lumba, Nana Ampadu, and Amakye Dede among others placed less value on their brand and were not paid much as compared to today.

He claims he enlightened the likes of Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, and other musicians to brand themselves well and charge very high, and this has helped Ghanaian musicians a lot.

“We are growing, let us talk about the growth so that the youth will learn from it. Ghana music is not about the olden days when the musicians were not having money. Right now, I have paved the way and when someone sees Sarkodie, they will respect him, when someone sees Stonebwoy they will respect him. I have done a whole lot of things for this industry”, Shatta Wale said.

Shatta Wale detailed why he hates radio personality, Andy Dosty and insults him at any given opportunity.

According to him, he used to regard Andy Dosty as his Godfather but he decided to stop because he realized Andy Dosty did not deserve his respect.

Speaking about Andy Dosty, Shatta Wale stated that he was so close to him and was even giving him gifts on several occasions.

He claims there were times he and Andy Dosty could speak for hours on the phone but anytime Andy Dosty goes on air, he tries to paint him black before Ghanaians.

Shatta Wale divulged that he had started new businesses and called Andy Dosty to help him promote them but Andy never did, meanwhile, he would go to the radio and say bad things about him.

He revealed that he on several occasions called the media personality to quit the habit of painting him black before Ghanaians but he never listened to him.

Citing an instance, Shatta Wale revealed that he and his team realized blogger Ameyaw Debrah was making bad publications about him so they warned him to put a stop to it.

According to him, Ameyaw Debrah listened to him and stopped making negative publications about him.

Shatta claims he and the blogger even traveled to America and had a good time after they had settled their differences.

He further added that Andy Dosty interviewed Ameyaw Debrah after they had settled their misunderstanding and was compelling the blogger to take legal action against him, Shatta Wale.

“I heard Andy Dosty and Ameyaw Debrah on the radio after Ameyaw Debrah and I had solved our problem years after. We had met in America and chilled. So I said okay cool, Ameyaw Debrah was on the radio so I was listening to the radio. Ameyaw Debrah said he had a small problem with me. I threatened him and all that but we have forgotten about it because he thought he didn’t write the publications well”, the musician said.

“Andy Dosty kept insisting to Ameyaw Debrah that he should go and report to the police. Nobody is saying threatening someone is good but Andy he should report to the Police station so that they arrest Shatta Wale and you would get what?”, he quizzed.
