The toxicology test conducted to determine the cause of death for the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba also known as Mohbad, has been finalized.
According to reports, the examination was carried out in the United States as confirmed by the State counsel Oluwaseun Akinde during a session at the coroner’s court in the Ikorodu area of the state in November 2023.
Akinde mentioned that the autopsy focused on the external body of the deceased while the toxicology test aimed to investigate internal factors.
Subsequently, an official from the Lagos State Government, requesting anonymity due to lack of authorization to discuss the matter, informed correspondents that the test results had returned to Nigeria. Additionally, he mentioned that a copy had been forwarded to the police.
“The toxicology test is ready and given to the police. We projected 10 weeks from the outset but it came in before then. The laboratory that would have done the job was burnt down during the #EndSARS protest.
“So the sample has to be taken abroad and now that it has been brought back, it is for the police to proceed with their investigation and charge people who needed to be charged to court and call on the government to prosecute, but as it is, I think the Lagos State government has done what it should do, the ball is now in their court.”

A source from the Lagos State Police Command confirmed receiving the result.
“The toxicology report is with us. It arrived on Monday but it is medical jargon for us. We don’t understand what it is. Even you will never understand what it is. So, it has been sent to the pathologists who carried out the autopsy to interpret it in layman’s terms. Once the interpretation is out, it will be announced through the office of the PPRO.”

Nigerian artist, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, finds himself in the spotlight once more following a disparaging remark made by one of his associates, Law_lee101, regarding the late Mohbad.
It’s worth noting that Naira Marley and his team previously faced criticism for allegedly mistreating Mohbad before his passing in September 2023.
In recent events, a member of Naira Marley’s inner circle reportedly took to Instagram to express animosity towards the deceased singer.
Law_lee101’s post detailed his hatred towards Mohbad even after his death.
According to Law_lee101, Mohbad’s alleged disparaging remarks about fellow artist Zinoleesky prompted Portable to publicly confront him on social media.
Law_lee101 implied that if Mohbad had refrained from making negative comments about Zinoleesky, Portable wouldn’t have had the nerve to challenge him.

Also, in a video circulating online, a Ghanaian prophet known as Karma President made a revelation about the death of singer, Mohbad.
The prophet directed his attention to Sam Larry, who is an associate of singer, Naira Marley, urging him to confess to Nigerians the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death.
The prophet emphasized that spiritually Sam Larry has blood on his hands and knows something about Mohbad’s death.
He added that Sam Larry has also been a negative influence on Naira Marley, pushing him to do a lot of evil.
