Afrobeat singer Ebunoluwa Damini Ogulu, professionally known as Burna Boy, has recorded a new feat in the UK.

In the recording making the rounds online, the Grammy Award winner was presented with an award plaque for being the first Nigerian singer to hit 2 billion streams in the UK.

The man, who presented the award plaque, praised the “Last Last” crooner for his effort not just in Nigeria but abroad.

In the video, Burna Boy said that he had to fight for his rights, but his mother corrected him that he had his right already and there was no need to fight.

However, Ghanaian rapper M.anifest joined Burna Boy on stage during the recently held concert to commemorate the African Giant album.

The high-striding LP released in July 2019 earned him a Grammy nod for the Best World Music Album at the scheme’s 62nd edition.

Burna Boy tagged a celebratory concert in London to thrill a lucky set of fans with classics of the critically acclaimed album.

M.anifest was one of nine collaborators on Burna Boy’s 19-track African Giant album, which also included Future and Angelique Kidjo.

His verse on Another Story significantly complimented Burna Boy’s objective to amplify Nigeria’s current ills rooted in the country’s history.

The song’s political message made it a theme song for many fans when Nigeria celebrated its 59th year of independence.

“Burna Boy and the M.anifest movement transcends beyond music. Brothers for 4 Life.”

Jamaican rapper, Stefflon Don reaffirmed that award-winning Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy, is the love of her life.

It would be recalled that the duo was a couple until their relationship hit the rocks in 2021.

Stefflon Don was questioned concerning her romantic history and her previous relationship with the crooner known as “Twice as Tall.”

She replied in the affirmative when she was asked whether she considers Burna Boy to be the love of her life.

Stefflon Don also revealed that she is now in a relationship but declined to reveal the name of her new mystery man.

The Jamaican rapper was asked if she wanted to get married but wanted to know the story of how they met.

Stefflon Don said, “Everyone knows how we met; he used to talk about it all the time. Trust me, after 20 interviews, we are in this together.”

However, she chose not to answer explicitly when asked if she believed that his painful song “Last Last” was about her.

Netizens jumped to the comment section to share their thoughts.

“SHE WANTS TO BE LIKE CHIOMA.”
