Bawah Sounds Alarm On NPP’s ‘Brazen Heist’

Joyce Bawah Mogtari on Mahama's big push to improve road network

Joyce Bawah Mogtari

Joyce Mogtari Bawah, Special Aide to John Mahama, the NDC flagbearer, has alleged that NPP politicians are making a brazen attempt to acquire all available state assets at significantly undervalued prices.

Joyce Bawah noted that when these politicians are caught and exposed, they respond with even more audacious and blatant falsehoods.

She astutely observed that both the NDC and NPP possess distinct strengths and inherent weaknesses, each with its own set of advantages and vulnerabilities.

The NDC stalwart also astutely observed that the two parties are starkly divided, holding fundamentally disparate views and opinions on nearly every issue, reflecting profoundly different values, principles, and visions for the country.

“The same voices that once campaigned against everything even Ameri, Karpower, and ENI amongst others, and turned ‘dumsor’ into a campaign slogan are resurfacing, lured by lofty promises and vote to buy from the government”.

Joyce Mogtari Bawah

Bawah further observed that the opposition effectively capitalized on the “dumsor” crisis in 2016, leveraging the public’s deep-seated frustration to create a potent campaign narrative that struck a chord with disaffected voters.

She noted that this calculated move masterfully tapped into the public’s simmering discontent, galvanizing widespread support and catapulting their campaign to newfound momentum.

Bawah emphatically stressed that, in stark contrast to prevailing narratives, John Mahama’s visionary leadership yielded a groundbreaking, comprehensive, and remarkably resilient solution to the dumsor crisis, one that has not only endured but continues to deliver lasting benefits.

“Mahama, the nation builder, and the NDC fixed Dumsor”. – Joyce Mogtari Bawah

She noted that some of the same individuals who had previously trafficked in false hopes and broken promises were now back, peddling their signature blend of empty rhetoric and attempting to convince others to condone a corrupt administration.

This, the NDC stalwart ominously hinted, heralds a perilous erosion of accountability and integrity, threatening to undermine the very foundations of good governance.

Bawah Alleges Bawumia’s Complicity In Corruption

Furthermore, Joyce Mogtari Bawah alleged that Dr. Bawumia is inextricably linked to this pervasive corruption and state capture, with his actions and decisions seemingly complicit in perpetuating this entrenched system of malfeasance.

She expressed skepticism regarding Dr. Bawumia’s purported vision, questioning whether he truly possesses a clear and compelling direction for the country’s future

“How could he have delivered all those intentionally-calculated lectures if he didn’t believe in the content and solutions he was sharing? Is he a trickster? Today, the economy he was supposed to fix has collapsed and is bankrupt. Ghana’s external debt is now a colossal GHC 740 Billion”.

Joyce Mogtari Bawah

As such, Bawah admonished Ghanaians not to be swayed by Bawumia’s eloquent but empty promises, urging them to instead scrutinize his actions and policies.

She asserted that Dr. Bawumia is far from being a fresh face, lacking the independence and autonomy to chart his own course, and bereft of innovative ideas or a bold new vision to propel the nation forward.

“He is an integral part of this corrupt Akufo-Addo government”. – Joyce Mogtari Bawah

Bawah declared that a vote for Bawumia is, in effect, a vote for Akufo-Addo’s third term, perpetuating the same leadership that has steered the country into its current woes.

She further emphasized that such a vote would be an implicit endorsement of the rampant corruption and state capture that has ravaged Ghana, entrenching the very problems that demand urgent attention.

The NDC stalwart alleged that this move is a blatant attempt by the NPP to sidestep accountability, dodging responsibility for its actions and thwarting efforts to hold it answerable for its stewardship.

“Ghanaians need accountability from the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government”. – Joyce Mogtari Bawah

Bawah warned that Ghanaians should not expect accountability from a second iteration of the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration.

She stated that another Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government would merely perpetuate the same culture of impunity and unresponsiveness that has characterized their previous tenure.
