Israeli Military Preparing For Major Attacks On Multiple Fronts

Avichay Adraee, the Arabic-language spokesman for the Israeli military.

The Israeli military has told residents of another 22 towns and villages in southern Lebanon to immediately evacuate or risk being killed, due to “Hezbollah elements, facilities or weapons” being present in the large areas. “You are prohibited from heading south, and any movement towards the south poses a danger to your life,” Israeli army Spokesman, Avichay Adraee said on X, adding that residents must move north of al-Awali Sea.

Many of the towns, including Aita al-Shaab, Ramyah and Hanine, have already been extensively bombed by Israeli fighter jets and drones.

The Israeli military also warned residents of south Lebanon “not to return” to their homes as troops continued fighting Hezbollah militants in the area.

Israeli forces continue to “target Hezbollah posts in or near your villages,” military spokesperson Avichay Adraee said on X.

In a separate post on X, Adraee reiterated an earlier call for health workers and medical teams in southern Lebanon to avoid using ambulances, claiming they are being used by Hezbollah fighters “transport fighters and weapons.”

“We call on medical teams to avoid contact with Hezbollah members and not to cooperate with them. The IDF (Israeli military) affirms that the necessary actions will be taken against any vehicle transporting armed individuals, regardless of its type.”

Adraee also called on residents of the area around Sheikh Radwan, south of Jabalia refugee camp, to evacuate. “The specified area, including the shelters within it, is considered a dangerous combat zone,” Adraee said on X, ordering residents to move to the humanitarian zone in the southern part of the strip.

However, Israeli attacks across Lebanon are continuing.

An Israeli air strike completely destroyed a three-storey building in the town of Kawthriyat al-Sayyad in Nabatieh, southern Lebanon.

Israeli air strikes on the outskirts of the towns of Bazouriyeh and Zebqin in southern Lebanon were also reported.

At least four people were killed and three wounded in an Israeli raid on Al-Bissariyeh, Sidon district.

On the other hand, Hezbollah said that it used “qualitative missiles” to hit an Israeli military base making weapons south of Haifa in its seventh attack on Israeli positions.

It said the attack took place in the morning, adding that it also used artillery shells to hit Israeli soldiers near the Lebanon border, sent a “guided missiles” toward the Ramia site and directed multiple rocket salvoes at Israeli positions.

Iran’s Parliament Speaker Arrives In Beirut In Show Of Solidarity

Meanwhile, Iranian parliament Speaker and former Military Commander, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf arrived in the Lebanese capital to meet his counterpart and Amal Movement leader Nabih Berri.

He told Iranian state television after arriving in Beirut, “I’m here to send a message from the people, Supreme Leader and the President of Iran to the people of Lebanon that, as always, we stand with the Lebanese people, government and resistance, and will stay by their stand in difficult conditions.”

He visited Israeli attack site in central Beirut accompanied by two Hezbollah legislators.

The Israeli air raid on Thursday night in the densely populated Basta area killed at least 22 people.

It had targeted the Lebanese group’s security chief Wafiq Safa, but his fate remains unknown, according to multiple reports quoting Hezbollah sources.

After his visit, Ghalibaf will head to Geneva to take part in an assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, where he said that he will discuss a shared “duty” to help besieged Palestinians and Lebanese people with his counterparts.
