Bawumia to Engage Ghanaian Youth to Unveil Job Creation Plan

The Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is set to outline his vision for job creation at an event on Sunday, November 3, 2024.

Dubbed “Bawumia for Jobs,” this engagement will provide an extensive look into Dr Bawumia’s strategic plans to tackle the pressing issue of youth unemployment, marking a key policy revelation as he campaigns for the December election.

The event is expected to be one of the largest nationwide youth-focused political gatherings in recent memory, with a live audience across all 16 regions of Ghana.

Organized by the Bawumia campaign team, the event will bring together young Ghanaians from various educational, professional, and social backgrounds, to hear how the NPP Flagbearer plans to address their concerns about economic opportunity and job stability.

Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the Director of Communications for the Bawumia Campaign, in a statement, underscored the Vice President’s commitment to seize the opportunity in the upcoming event to outline his plan to create jobs, as a cornerstone of his “Next Chapter” agenda for Ghana’s development.

To Lead is to Solve: A Mission for Job Creation

The Director of Communications for the Bawumia Campaign further noted that the Vice President, brings a reputation for digital innovation and economic policy reform.

His campaign slogan, “To Lead is to Solve! It is Possible!”, he noted aims to build confidence among the youth that tangible solutions to the job crisis are within reach.

“Job creation is at the heart of Dr. Bawumia’s policy proposals for Ghana’s future,” said Dennis Miracles Aboagye, Director of Communication for the Bawumia Campaign.

He emphasized that Dr. Bawumia will present how, under his leadership, he will expand employment opportunities, stimulate private sector growth, and leverage technology and innovation to create a robust job market.

Nationwide Reach and Broad Access

The “Bawumia for Jobs” event according to the Director of Communications for the Bawumia Campaign will be broadcast live on all major media outlets, including radio and television networks, as well as key social media platforms.

This is to ensure that Ghanaians across the country, and even those in the diaspora, have access to this critical policy announcement.

The event’s extensive media coverage is also designed to reach every segment of the youth demographic, allowing them to engage directly with Dr. Bawumia’s proposals for a more inclusive economy.

Dr Bawumia’s upcoming event highlights the ruling party’s strategic focus on engaging younger voters, who represent a substantial proportion of the electorate and are vital to Ghana’s future workforce.

The unemployment rate among Ghanaian youth remains a critical concern, with many young Ghanaians seeking assurances of sustainable employment opportunities.
