Actor and comedian, Kwadwo Nkansah, professionally known as Lil Win, has cautioned Ghanaians to desist from engaging in electoral violence.

Lil Win advised that no one should accept money from a politician to fight or engage in electoral fraud.

“I will urge all of us that no matter the political party that you support never see those who disagree with you as your enemy. After voting just go home quietly and pray that God should help the one you voted for to win the elections so that you’ll be happy.

“But don’t accept money in order to fight for a politician because when any problem comes consider your background and where you come from. When you get shot or your leg gets amputated the politician you fought for will never do anything significant for you or give you any substantial amount.”

Lil Win

According to him, even if they [politicians] give their supporters money, “You might have lost your leg for the rest of your life, or lost your hands or your eyes would have been destroyed forever,” he added.

The actor advised Ghanaians not to take any money from politicians and do something wrong during elections. “Don’t take money to hate someone, or don’t take money to go and hurt someone because we are one people,” he said.

Lil Win also revealed the reason he’ll never endorse any political party like other celebrities are doing.

He said he’s not interested in accepting money from politicians to endorse them because in Ghana most people do not understand politics.

“It’s not every money that I have to go and take but the little that God has given me I like it that way and besides in Ghana we don’t understand politics. In America, you can see celebrities endorsing Trump or Harris but here in Ghana when you decide to do the same then it becomes a big issue.”

Lil Win

In Ghana, the comedian stated that people seem to hate or dislike an individual the moment they decide to endorse or publicly affiliate with a political party as a public figure or celebrity.

“Apart from acting I have a school that I’m managing so being affiliated to NDC or NPP might be problematic but it shouldn’t have been so.”

Lil Win

Lil Win’s comments reflect celebrities endorsing political parties, with some expressing their full support for parties of their interest while others are unperturbed.

Actor Shares Reason for Spraying Money at Church

Musician and actor, Lil Win revealed why he was seen in a viral video spraying money at the church auditorium of Stephen Adom Kyei-Duah.

He said those who think he should have used that money to help the needy and less privileged should know that in every rich man’s family, there are poor people.

“If you were observing me spraying money at Stephen Adom Kyei’s church premises you might not understand and wonder why I wasn’t donating to the less privileged or orphans. Some might say why don’t I give such an amount to my siblings who are struggling financially but when you go to every rich man’s family you’d find some poor people.”

Lil Win

He remarked that it doesn’t mean that the rich man doesn’t do his responsibility towards his family. “However, looking at the difficulties that came my way I’m still alive,” he added.

Lil Win further the apparent reason for spraying the money in the church.

“Because of that, I had to spray that money in the church even if that’s the last money I’ll use to feed myself, and doing that gesture would never go in vain.”
