Efia Odo Shares Her Stance on Love and Relationship

Efia Odo

Ghanaian socialite and actress, Efia Odo has denied endorsing Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia ahead of the 2024 elections.

This follows backlash from her recent statement on social media, which some interpreted as a show of support for the ruling party’s candidate.

Efia Odo had posted on X that she believed Bawumia would win the upcoming elections.

However, this remark was met with mixed reactions, with many accusing her of endorsing the Vice President.

Many were also surprised by how critical Efia Odo had on the government and even participated in demonstrations.

In response to the controversy, Efia Odo took to X (formerly Twitter) again to clarify her position. She stressed that predicting an election outcome did not equate to supporting a particular candidate.

She insinuated that her belief in Bawumia’s potential victory was purely observational and not an indication of her voting choice. She also made it clear that she had not taken any bribes.

“I didn’t say I’m voting for Bawumia. I said he’s winning the election. Even if I tweeted Mahama or Cheddar is winning, you would’ve said I’ve taken a bribe😌.”

Efia Odo

Efia Odo, who has often been outspoken about social and political issues in Ghana, described her prediction as a divinely inspired revelation rather than a political stance.

The comment has added fuel to the ongoing discussions, as many social media influencers have been openly declaring support for various political candidates ahead of the elections.

Celebrity endorsements of political aspirants have become a hot topic as the elections draw close.

“Efia you can vote for whomever you wanna vote for. Niggas don’t read lmao.”

Efia Odo Declares New Faith

Efia Odo

Ghanaian socialite, Efia Odo announced that she has turned a new page in her life, declaring herself born again and devoted to a Christ-centred path.

Efia shared insights into her spiritual transformation, emphasizing her commitment to living intentionally in alignment with her newfound faith.

“I was reading Proverbs before coming. I want to feed my soul with the spirit of God because the word of God is perfect. People were supposed to see who I was so they could see where I was going. Even though I am already at where I am going, I believe I am already there.”

Efia Odo

Efia explained that her previous search for love and fulfillment in worldly desires has now been replaced with a deeper connection to Christ.

“All I have is God because we would lose our parents one day. The love I was seeking in the world, I find in Christ, so I no longer seek and desire things of the world. What God has planned for me is different from what people think about me.”

Efia Odo

Addressing her past actions, Efia insisted that everything she did was with good intentions, adding that her journey has shaped her resilience and brought her closer to her current faith.

“Everything that I did was from good intentions. I believe I am a child of God and the light of the world, then I can’t believe in darkness. So everything that I have done, I did it with good intentions; that is why I am boldly sitting where I am now.”

Efia also touched on how she deals with negative labels such as being tagged a “slay queen,” maintaining that she reframes such terms positively.

“Everything is positive around me. You might see the word slay queen and have a negative feeling attached to it because that is how you operate.”

Efia Odo

According to her, she sees the word “slay queen” from a different perspective. “I operate in positivity, so every word you would say to me, I operate it into positivity,” she explained.

Efia’s declaration of faith has sparked mixed reactions among her fans and followers, with some praising her for prioritizing her spiritual journey.
