Sally Mann, a well-known critic of Ghanaian artist Shatta Wale, has heatedly discussed his recent performance at the Freedom Concert in Kingston, Jamaica.

This high-profile event, which had already been extensively covered in the media, became the focus of Mann’s scrutiny as she shared her thoughts on Wale’s performance and his tribute to Jamaican artist Vybz Kartel.

Sally, known for her critical stance toward the SM boss, made it clear that Shatta Wale’s appearance at the concert was not initially part of the plan.

She revealed, “Vybz Kartel was informed of Shatta Wale’s loyalty, and that’s what got him on the lineup,” shedding light on the behind-the-scenes negotiations that led to Wale’s inclusion in the event.

While this gesture highlighted Wale’s commitment to the Jamaican artist, it also raised eyebrows for Mann, who remained unconvinced of its significance.

Vida Adumtwumwaa, another guest, joined Sally in expressing their disappointment with Shatta Wale’s performance, particularly focusing on his dramatic kneeling tribute to Vybz Kartel.

Both women agreed that such a display might have been unnecessary for an artist of Wale’s stature.

“Why does he need to kneel for another artist, especially someone from a different country?” Vida asked, sharing the sentiments of many who felt the gesture was excessive for an international star like Shatta Wale.

Despite their criticisms, the two did not dismiss Wale’s efforts altogether.

They acknowledged that, at the very least, his participation in the concert served as a platform for representing Ghana and expanding his brand beyond borders.

Sally Disappointed by Stonebwoy’s Comments on Shatta Wale

Media personality, Sally Mann shared her mixed feelings about Stonebwoy’s comments regarding Shatta Wale in the lead-up to his highly anticipated Freedom Street concert.

While Mann expressed her unwavering support for Stonebwoy’s musical accomplishments, she did not hold back when discussing what she described as his “unjustified” remarks about his fellow dancehall star.

Stonebwoy, known for his international success and recognition, particularly in Jamaica, had previously been lauded for his diplomatic approach to the ongoing rivalry with Shatta Wale.

His performances on some of the biggest stages, including those in Jamaica, have made him a respected figure in the global music scene.

However, Mann feels that Stonebwoy crossed a line by addressing Shatta Wale in such a manner, especially considering their typically combative relationship.

Sally Mann elaborated on her thoughts, pointing out that Stonebwoy’s remarks seemed to alter the public perception of the ongoing conflict between the two artists.

“We know Shatta Wale as the instigator, the one who often pushes things too far, but Stonebwoy’s recent comments have shifted that narrative.”

She further expressed her disappointment with the unexpected turn of events.

Her guests, Kwaku Osei Korankye Asiedu, widely known as KOKA, and Vida Adutwumwaa, echoed her sentiments, criticizing Stonebwoy for taking an uncharacteristic stance.

“We all know Shatta Wale’s behavior, but Stonebwoy should not have lowered himself to that level,” KOKA remarked during the discussion, highlighting the impact of Stonebwoy’s words on the perception of their rivalry.

Moreover, Sally Mann took a swipe at musician, King Paluta, urging him to tone down what she described as “unnecessary flexing” following his recent stage performance.

According to Sally, King Paluta’s attempt to slur his words and sound foreign during the performance came across as pretentious and inauthentic.

In her critique, Sally Mann did not mince words, stating, “You are not that good-looking or overly talented, so stop the unnecessary flexing.” She further elaborated that while confidence is essential in showbiz, humility remains a critical trait for long-term success.

She highlighted that the entertainment industry has seen many talented personalities, such as Wendy Shay, who have managed to remain grounded despite their success.
