The song, ‘Call on Me’ offers listeners the perfect track with which to soundtrack the season of love and it is not a coincidence that it was released just a few days before Valentine’s Day. Love is in the air.

It’s a refreshing departure from the lack of depth often found in mainstream tracks. This new single marks Bigwave RSL featuring RBL Yung Don and John Elv’s first release of the year 2025, and they come out swinging.

This new single goes beyond the trope of celebrating romantic love. Instead, its soulful lyrics express a desire for someone to reach out for help or companionship during tough times.

It highlights the importance of being there for each other and the reassurance that one can always count on the other person.

‘Call on Me’ celebrates people in different types of loving relationships including family, romantic, friendship, and community.

Lyrically, ‘Call on Me’ is a masterpiece in raw honesty. Lines like ‘Call on me 📞 , love ❤, and I’ll always be your safe haven 🙂‍↔, ready to wrap you in my embrace no matter the storm’ express the assurance to be there for loved ones.

The new single encourages everyone to look within and find the people, moments, and all the small beautiful things worth celebrating because at the end of the day, that is what love is all about.

The song’s infectious melodies, comforting lyrics, and captivating delivery are set to serenade music lovers worldwide.

With its irresistible charm and undeniable appeal, ‘Call on Me’ promises to be yet another musical success for the artist.

YS, Ghanaian artist

In an exclusive interview with The Valutz News, artist, and promoter, YS revealed the inspiration behind the new single, ‘Call on Me’.

He stated that the inspiration for writing ‘Call on Me’ was to create a song that captures the emotions and feelings of being there for someone in their time of need.

“We wanted to convey a sense of support, comfort, and reassurance that comes with having someone to rely on. The song is about being that rock for someone, and we hope it resonates with listeners on a deep level.”

YS

The artist declared that Valentine’s Day also inspired the song ‘Call on Me’.

“We dropped it a week to Valentine’s Day so people can get in the mood to call on their loved ones. The song is meant to connect people in love. You don’t need to call on your partner only in your darkest days but in your happiest moments too.”

YS

In the process of producing the song, he mentioned that it was an interesting and exciting process. “Everyone involved in the production understood what the song was about and poured their hearts into it,” he added.

He also expressed that it was an emotional and passionate experience, stating that it helped them [his team] understand how to create a genuine and heartfelt song.

The artist shared that he hopes the song connects emotionally with listeners and encourages them to reach out for support from their loved ones.
