Dancehall king Shatta Wale has officially put to rest speculations about lingering tension between himself and rapper Sarkodie, confirming that they are back on good terms after years of a public fallout.

The two music maestros were once known to be close friends, often supporting each other both on and off stage. However, their relationship took a hit years ago, leading to a series of diss tracks and subtle jabs in interviews and on social media.

In recent months, fans have noticed a change in tone, with both artists engaging more positively online. Their once-frosty relationship appears to be warming up again, from likes and reposts to direct interactions.

Some critics, however, have questioned the authenticity of the renewed friendship, calling it fake love and suggesting it’s all for public attention.

However, Shatta Wale, in a social media post, has shut down those claims, clarifying that he and Sarkodie have genuine love for each other.

Shatta also urged fans of both camps to let matters rest and focus on championing positivity in the music industry.

Their reconciliation marks a positive turn in what had been one of Ghana music’s most talked-about rivalries. Fans have expressed hope that the two will collaborate again and continue to promote peace in the industry.

Meanwhile, rapper Sarkodie could not hide his excitement when he spotted a driver from Shatta Wale’s ride-hailing service, Shaxi. The heartwarming moment, captured on video, came just weeks after Sarkodie publicly endorsed the dancehall star’s business.

In the video, the driver was heard shouting Sarkodie’s popular catchphrase, “Obidi pon bidi,” as both men shared the light-hearted, wholesome moment on the road.

In the short interaction, Sarkodie encouraged the driver to be dedicated to his job.

Shatta Wale got emotional after seeing Sarkodie’s video on his X page. In his short and sweet words, the dancehall musician wrote, “King Sark 4 a Reason 👑🙏💜 #SHAXI.”

Ghanaians praised Sarkodie for showing public support for Shatta Wale’s ride-hailing service, Shaxi. Many hailed him as a true king for endorsing a fellow musician’s business.

The Ghanaian dancehall musician slammed media personality Nana Romeo following an interview with Tinny on his show.

Nana Romeo, in an interview with Tinny, questioned the musician about why they have failed to advise Shatta Wale over his constant rants on social media.

Tinny, while responding to Nana Romeo, advised Shatta Wale to go all out and slam anyone who tarnishes his reputation.

“I will tell him to go all out. He should attack anyone who attacks him. He should also be at peace with anyone who is equally at peace with him. This is not about the Ga tribe because that is how everyone should live. He should not tolerate any form of nonsense, and that is the best way.”

In a recent development, Shatta Wale, in a post shared on X, slammed Nana Romeo, referring to him as a “wack” journalist.

He emphasised that the media personality should ask relevant questions that would contribute positively to the Ghana music industry, rather than what he described as irrelevant questions.

“Don’t think of your monthly pay and talk like that toilet station you are sitting in. I am MD, I wake up and just start dissing people abi… Flish man with flish questions just for trends.”

Shatta Wale, in his post, also attacked the radio station, describing it as a cheap media house.

The controversial dancehall musician further questioned the integrity of Okay FM. “If I start with you, you won’t last on that cheap radio station chair like a chamber pot nu… F*lish Romeo with no Juliet aboaba!!” he fumed.
