US rapper Offset has shared his thoughts on marriage, suggesting that he may never walk down the aisle again.

This comes amid his ongoing divorce from his estranged wife, Cardi B, 32.

Offset and Cardi B tied the knot on September 20, 2017, and during their relationship, they welcomed two children: Kulture Kiari and Wave Set.

The couple’s third child, Blossom, was born in September 2024, just two months after Cardi filed for divorce in July 2024.

While Cardi initially filed for divorce in September 2020, the couple reconciled before ultimately parting ways again.

During the interview, Offset was candid, explaining that marriage simply isn’t for him. “I’ve done it. Had three kids with it. It’s like a mission that’s been completed,” he said.

He stated that his experience with marriage, including having children with Cardi, was fulfilling and had come to a natural end.

The host expressed a desire to experience marriage in the future, noted that it all comes down to personal experience. “You see, I experienced it, so I’ve already done it,” Offset added.

He also revealed that he doesn’t see the need for another happily ever after with someone new. “Everything is temporary,” he stated.

The rapper was clear in his response when asked if he would recommend marriage to others.

He advised against it unless someone is prepared to change their life entirely for their partner.

“I would say, unless you’re cool with changing your life entirely. You got a different partner. Especially when it’s written and it’s a real thing.”

The rapper later explained that he wouldn’t suggest getting married while focusing heavily on one’s career, as balancing both could be challenging.

In a recent interview, Offset also discussed the meaning behind the closing track of his newly released album, KIARI.

Offset is back with a brand-new solo album,‘KIARI’, and while the project dives into his grief, growth, and future, fans can’t stop talking about one track in particular —“Move On.”

The closer of the album isn’t just a reflection on his messy divorce from Cardi B; it’s a straight-up diss where Offset finally puts some of their private arguments on wax.

On “Move On,” Offset doesn’t sugarcoat anything. He calls Cardi out for not holding up what he says were her responsibilities in the relationship. “You never listen to no rules / You never cook n***s no food / You just want to go out to Nobu / Telling me sht that you don’t do,” he raps.

The lines are striking because they’re not wrapped in metaphors or clever wordplay — they’re blunt accusations that sound like they came straight from a kitchen table argument.

For a couple whose love story has played out publicly, Offset bringing the drama into his music makes it impossible to ignore.

He insists the song isn’t about staying bitter. According to him, it’s about closure. “It’s about moving on, like, peacefully. That’s what the message is supposed to be,” he said.

“It’s all love, peace. It’s love. I just ended that up with the album, just to end that chapter … It was great while it lasted. That shouldn’t be the topic for either one of us anymore. It’s a book that’s closed.”

While he talks peace in interviews, the lyrics themselves are messy. They air out Cardi for being dismissive, for not listening, and for choosing the glam life over domestic life.

Fans are split — some are praising him for speaking his truth, while others are accusing him of trying to shift blame for a marriage that crumbled under both of their mistakes.

He revealed that the song was about moving on peacefully and ending the chapter with Cardi.

“It’s about moving on, like, peacefully. That’s what the message is supposed to be,” he said.

Reflecting on his relationship with Cardi, Offset expressed gratitude for their time together.

“It was great while it lasted. That shouldn’t be the topic for either one of us no more. It’s a book that’s closed,” he concluded.
