Cardi B has finally addressed public misconceptions about her cosmetic surgeries she did in a bid to keep a man.
The American rapper rejected the idea of getting surgery because of her insecurity.
Cardi, who shares three children with ex Offset, shut down the rumours that she did surgery because “this guy always be cheating on her and stuff like that”.
The former ‘Love & Hip Hop’ star explained that men fall in love with her not because of her physical looks, but there’s much more than her appearance. “If a man is gonna cheat on you, they just gonna cheat on you because that’s just men,” she declared.
Reflecting on her past life, Cardi, who previously worked as an exotic dancer, disclosed, “I used to make money off dancing naked. Like I was making money because of my looks.”
“Not because of my brain, not because of my mouth, not because of my anything — because of my looks,” remarked the ‘WAP’ hit-maker.
Cardi noted that she used to make “thousands of dollars” due to her looks before surgery, before she got her teeth fixed and even before getting her nose done.
The ‘Up’ crooner pointed out that she enjoys altering her look, noting that you “change your wig every other day”. “I like a certain type of bodies,” Cardi stated.
However, the rapper added, “It’s like, if I have the money and if I could, I’m gonna change it if I want to.”
Cardi B Reveals Reason Split from Offset Remains Unresolved
The American rapper opened up about why her divorce from Offset has yet to be finalized.
The ‘WAP’ rapper stepped forward to explain why she is still married to Offset despite filing for divorce over a year ago.
She also supported her pregnancy with boyfriend Stefon Diggs while being legally married.
“The only reason why I’m still married is because somebody wants me to pay for their taxes,” Cardi B, mentioning her marriage to the 33-year-old rapper, with whom she shares three children.
“Y’all wanna know the tea? The only way I can get out of my marriage is if I pay for somebody else’s taxes, even though I pay for my own, and give them one of my properties. I’mma fight for that. This is not no love s—. I’m not gonna stop living my life.”

Cardi acknowledged that she and Offset, legally known as Kiari Cephus, are recognized as separated.
“On a contract, I’m practically still married, because somebody [wants to] hold me hostage. If I don’t give them millions of dollars to get out of it.”

Meanwhile, the rapper might have ended her relationship with Offset by filing for divorce, but she does not think of it as a “waste of time.”
The 32-year-old rapper was married to the Migos rapper, 33, for seven years before she walked out of the marriage, after contemplating divorce for a long time.
The ‘Please Me’ addressed her past relationship, saying, “Even in the long marriage that I was in, there’s a lot of things that I regret, and there’s a lot of things that people are gonna be like, ‘You see, you wasted your time.’”
“I don’t feel like it was a waste of time. I see what comes with being a wife, being a mom, so I experienced that. It’s like I have to experience pain, I have to experience good times, I have to experience what it was like to have a family and to be a wife.”

Speaking about her decision to end the marriage, the ‘Safe’ songstress added, “I really just don’t regret anything. It is what it is. If your heart is not ready, it’s just not ready.”
Towards the end of the relationship, Cardi revealed “I felt like I was getting really sick” which she took as her body telling her that she could not take it anymore.
