During his time at Newmont Corporation, he “spearheaded automation strategies and process control optimization initiatives across multiple mine sites in the region.”
With this over decades good-standing professional experience in the mining industry, Heath Goldfields sees Ing. Karim as a great addition to its team as he brings on board a wealth of technical expertise in asset management, process automation, and electrical and instrumentation systems.
Ing. Karim’s early career at Obuasi Mine, where he championed automation and control system upgrades for shaft and winder infrastructure, has offered him strong underground engineering credentials, which aligns directly with Heath Goldfields’ mission to “modernize and optimize underground operations through innovation, automation, and engineering excellence.”
